It'd be interesting to see some more self-awareness research regarding dolphins. I read about the way in which they've experimented with captive dolphins and video cameras/playback, and the dolphins ended up 'watching' when it was clear the footage was recorded, not live. Still, after the mice, they're the most intelligent creatures on the planet, right?

I swam with wild dolphins off Cornwall. Overrated. Fuckers got some beady little eyes, too.

Edit: i do not trust things that live in the sea.

Do I have permission to mod that?

I'm calling deliberate. No-one starts threads about dolphins on here, normally.

Dolphins are just gay sharks.

During the TVAM technicians strike there were many technical cock ups. None more so when they played an episode of Flipper..... backwards (it played off film not tape so it was a simple error).

So instead of rescuing people. Flipper actually drowned people!

We met one at Discovery Cove in Orlando. It pissed in front of everyone, thereby showing 1) intelligence and 2) precisely what it thought of European tourists. It was pretty funny. (Best moments that day, though, were swimming with fucking massive sting rays. Maybe the dolphin felt annoyed at being overshadowed by something with as much intelligence as a peanut.)
