Hello.

I'm pressed for time today and since I only found out about this little subsite that I can on at work the other day, this isn't going to be anything fancy. I should use this site more; subverting the lock-down of the internet at this shit hole. And do you know how long it takes to cut and paste stuff from the messages? Yeah, you probably do. Anyhoo, no fancy topic to distract from the good work here at BeeX - just honest-to-goodness nominations of excellence.

But a quick recap:

This week we've been largely fearing the weather and fearing the food on our plates and fearing Rev Stu's new appointment as the head of the lottery commission but decided that we would relax by purchasing some excellent tat off the internet and playing some Halo.

So, a time of post-Christmas blues then but fortunately there were some saviours amongst us that had risen from the ashes to make our bellies quiver with delight. When the opportunity for a pun arose there were few of you that could resist the call of horse related gags. Some were actually funny, which was nice. God bless you people. In fact, the funnier ones, weren't nominated. Ah well. You could read the topic if you missed anything.

Notwithstanding the horse meat on offer I actually think that the nominations for POTW show the range of topics being discussed on this very forum that is flickering in front of your eyes, and so, with that, I bid you adieu and leave you with the many emails I have received this week from those that took the time and effort to reward fellow man with a digital pat on the back.

TO THE NOMS!

Horses!
Choppers
Girlfriends
My favourite for some reason was Branding guidance
A well received nomination on a forum favourite issue - Bins
I didn’t get this one -French
Biology
MULTIPLE NOMINATION ALERT!Sexual Prowess
Wimmin
RUNNER UP FOR MOST NOMS Socio-geopolitics

But the winner of MOST NOMS was this little stunner. Dogs

Oh. So, actually, we largely discussed horse meat. Ah well, there's always next weex!

Most noms!

The French one is an Eddie Izzard skit about horses being turned into glue, and this not being good for the horse.

Nice one Saturnalian. :)
Yay - I knew I was onto a winner with that old Beex perennial favourite - BINS. :D

(I have to say, Pundy is now my 'goto man' for all things municipal garbage, for some reason. Frankly, I intend to respond to his posts in this vein, pretty much, forever and a day from hereonin. Sure he's delighted. :D )

Due to work commitments, noms for this weeks POTW in BEEX Week must close at 7pm on Thursday night. Really sorry but I'm now out from early on Friday morning due to last weeks shoot being called off at the last moment.

I will have to send it to a friendly mod and ask them to kindly post it at the appropriate time as well.

Sorry! This always happens when I do BEEX Week.
