It's just occured to me that we use Websense at my work so this bullshit is a little present that might be waiting for me when I get back to work as well. Although I've never seen anything filtered out as Games before, and certainly I can access all games review sites plus stuff like Newgrounds, so we might not be filtering that category at all.

At work the bar did a stocktake and apparently were several cases of spirits down. This means no more staff drinks, and no more allowed on the premises when you're not rostered to work. This is a massive amount of bollocks. I loved my free pints after work!

Current plans for wedding guest list is 60 people for the day and 90 for the evening.

I have been uber geeky and have a 6 tier rating system as to who is getting cut depending on what we push the final numbers to I'm tempted to send the ratings out with the invites.

You should throw it up on a website and allow other people to do the ratings - then invite the highest rated people only. Crowdsourced wedding guest lists. It's going to be a thing.

I hate my job and my boss. But mostly my boss. He's a terrible, terrible manager and has zero people skills. Plus he's a cunt. Actually, I quite like my job if they'd just let me get on with it. Just my boss being a cunt then.

It is a bitch. MrsA's immediate family outnumber mine 8:1. Invited. 70 for the day and i have stopped caring. Also, people with kids are an issue.

Bit difficult in a solicitors firm as it's not a typical office hierarchy. They're funny old places to work, y'know.

We just said nobody could bring kids to the evening part. Made us a little unpopular, but freed up room for more guests!

Yeah, I am filing childcare arrangements as someone else' s problem. Along with travel and accommodation. I think there are only two toddlers, the rest are babies. Still, more mouths to feed at HOWFUCKIMGMUCH per head. I dunno what MesA is going to do about the whole thing as it has quickly become clear my role is exclusively writing cheques.

I planned to watch it, but then decided it might be too gory for me. So didn't. But I might change my mind.

Only invite nearest and dearest kids. I.e those that will be bridesmaids etc.

Think we only ended up with 4 and we ensured they were given stuff to keep them amused during the meal. Puzzle books, crayons and indeed we placed disposable cameras on all the tables for photos which the kids ended up taking a series of amusing photos of peoples feet + up skirt shots.

Nobody was offended, nobody refused to come and several friends subsequently went on to use the same policies at their own wedding as they remarked ours had gone so well.

Why does getting up for the second day back at work always feel worse than the first morning? Bleh.

Yup. Tell MrsA to read these comments we've all made. People with kids are just as reasonable as those without, so some people will get annoyed, but they are assholes and you can ignore their stupid opinions.

I have given up applying rational logic to anything to do with this.

Huh, I got in at half seven as I needed to do somethings straight away on my first day back, to find the systems all went titsup yesterday, so we are a day behind, and I can't do it until tomorrow. BOO!

So, I’m off to Singapore for work for two weeks, flying out a week on Sunday. Should be good fun. Hilariously, I realised yesterday 5 minutes after being asked if I was okay to go, that I don’t have a currently valid passport. So next Tuesday is being spent in Newport getting a new one. Brilliantly, my boss has said I can count that as a day’s work so I don’t need to take a days’ leave to do it.
