I've installed a new SSD on the laptop and put windows 7 on there, but it turns out I'm missing a few drivers, as there are a few unknown devices showing in device manager. The dell cd and website isn't all that helpful really, they are both a bit vague and generic seeming. So far it doesn't seem like this is causing any issues but it's still bothering me.
I was thinking of throwing the old hdd back in (I haven't wiped it, so can still boot into my old install) and quickly get the relevant drivers backed up onto a USB stick.
I'm sure someone on here posted about some (free) software that can do this. Googling 'driver backup software throws up tons of results, has anyone here got a personal favourite they recommend please?

What's not working?
Sometimes it's obscure stuff you never use like a fingerprint scanner or a card reader, whereby you can simply decide 'Meh, I'm not bothered.'
