Straight away - put JC2 in not long after switching the 360 on.

And it's only those two games that I've noticed it.

Still, I'll give the thing a good dusting. Bloody weird, though.

Have you seen some of the threads other people start? Of course this deserves it's own thread! Get in quick before Grim... starts charging for them.

I believe the plan is to charge for BnB posts, amortised against new threads at a to-be-determined ratio.

Nope, it's a new one.

And it's only these two games as far as I can tell. Skyrim etc still look lovely.

Just wondered if it was a recent MS update to the 360 o/s that borked the graphics a bit for "older" titles.

Are you sure they weren't doing it before? I've seen the sorts of glitches you describe to but thought it was probably pretty normal.

Deffo 100% JC2 wasn't doing it before this week. SR2 has been doing it since I bought it about 6 months ago.

It's a puzzler.

Almost forgot - there was some excitement in the village last night. Apparently a drunk driver crashed his way down the lane where Ruth parks, and smashed up three cars and a porch in a pinball stlyee, narrowly missing Ruth’s car. After begging the people whose porch he smacked into not to phone the police ("I'm trying to get custody of my daughter, they'll take her away from me if I get reported for this" - good, you brainless twat) he tried to drive off as well but the car wouldn’t start. He was driving from Cheltenham to Cainscross, which is about 20 miles. He was about 15 miles into the journey when he crashed. Hopefully he’ll be banned for life.

Completely forgot that I'm spending New Year in a cottage with friends near Stroud. That's brightened my day, considerably.

You've got to feel sorry for Clegg. Osborne's autumn statement is coming up ("Yeah, we're still fucked, but we're totally working on it"), and Clegg and Cable are both poised to do the good work and get Starbucks to pay some fucking tax by law, or whatever idea fell out of their cereal packet today. This is going to score them some seriously political capital. The tories are trying but it isn't great, but the Lib Dems ARE making someone pay TAX who is RICH!

He probably only had a few minutes to ponder what it was that caused Osborne to yell "YES! Someone's done it! Knocked the bitch up! I'm home free!!", and then the avalanche crashes down on him. He realizes, he's not going to get to do anything to make it all good. All his work. Now nobody will notice. Or the autumn statement. He had great things to say, too. People would like hi and his party again. It isn't there fault. It really, really isn't. Meanwhile, Cameron and Osborne are high fiving at this stroke of brilliant fortune, as Clegg, deflated, sips his gingerbread latte in a coffee shop. Beaten, once again. Oh, no! He's in Starbucks!

I believe when it came back, as was common practice the BBC invited independent contractors to produce it. Granada ended up producing it. I expect its now branded as ITV Studios or an ITV production?

Around the same time as Uni Challenge came back, Granada produced Mrs Merton also for the BBC.

Not unusual. In fact its not unusual for ITV studio shows to be shot at TV Centre and BBC shows to be shot down at what was LWT either.

Not forgetting when Thames lost their franchise, both This Is Your Life and Men Behaving Badly swapped channels to the BBC. Thames still produced them but they sold them to the BBC instead.
