At the pub in Bradford last night, Goose Island Honkers, although fun to order ("Honkers, please!") was a disappointment. Sierra Nevada Torpedo, however, was not. Both were about £3.20 a bottle. it's a lvoely place, and I will return, even though it'd take 30 minutes door to door if the trains work out. I then had a curry at Don't tell Titus which was nice and we went home, drank champagne and watched Pretty Woman. That's a decent evening.

Do you have an actual list up on the fridge?

I worked with a woman who was allergic to alcoholic drinks, and the only one she found she could tolerate was Guinness, bizarrely.

Suddenly my brain has taken me back the 10 years since I worked with him. I remember one day him arriving at work and telling us how his (16 year old) girlfriend was pregnant. All I could envisage was his scrunched up cum face while he guffed a green miasma of stench into her face and coughed his yoghurt inside her. Brbbrrrrrr.

Oh my God, there I was, sitting on a freezing aeroplane transfer bus in Dublin airport late last night, listening to some tiresome knobend moan non-stop on his phone for 15 mins whilst we sat and waited for the driver to turn up. Whilst contemplating justified homicide, I decided instead to fire up my iPhone to catch up with my Beex pals. Upon reading this, I quite literally fell about laughing my tits off - much to the apparent chagrin and general incredulity of the few miserable souls also on board.

Dimrill, I salute you sir. Comedy gold - if I knew how to nom this for POTW, I would.

Isn't that 'report post' mate? Not that I've ever done it of course.

I don't want Curio or Craster to think I've gone all Mary Whitehouse on the forum, or something. :D

No, it's definitely the red exclamation mark. Craster prefers it if you do it that way, he said.

I was pondering it last night, and thought "Nah, what's the worst that can happen?" and the worst that can happen is "7 day notice period and no new contract". About an hour ago, I said to my colleague, "Is there anything that needs doing today, as I'm struggling a bit here finding things to do, and if there isn't I'm going to look for jobs". Although, I might find a new way to irritate iT (Last one was "freeze panes in Excel and then complain I can't scroll", good one that, took 15 minutes to sort).

I sent a delightfully sugary email to the lass that got me into this company, congratulating her on her new role in a new place, and thanking her for how kind and helpful she was to me. Oh, and can she get me a job, here's my cv.

I'm beginning to suspect Lizzie A only has one tracksuit, as there's a photo of ehr wearing it in the T&A today. A google image search might be in order.

Applied for a job at major rivals down the road. It is a bit more of a commute, but y'know, it might pique their interest, wanting to go to them from here.
