Series Seven isn't the best. Watched the episode where they go to the strip club, and it was decent in parts, but mostly meh.

So, er, here is a big-old gag reel.

Note that I've linked to just before the scene where, unless I'm very much mistaken, you can clearly see Cobie Smulders' nips.

Oh, except it seems a bit iffy with the time linking. Whizz to 19 minutes and 30 seconds.

I do not believe you are mistaken. Also, weird 'mistake' - those puppies have come right out to play.

It did seem kind of sad, with the group of friends seeming to drift apart a little. I can relate to that, as my main group of friends went from a big dynamic and kerrazy group to small and more sedate. Plus, I left them behind and don't have so many friends out here.

Barney's recap of the show so far was excellent.
Otherwise a bit meh, though.

"meh" sums up serieses 6 and 7. I'm assuming and hoping this is the last series. We'll watch the first of S8 via tv-links or somewhere this weekend.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Ted's daughter was shown in 2014 (sub please check). That would indicate to me that Ted will meet the mother by the end of this series

Did you hack him to find out what codecs he's got installed, or something?

Cock off fagballz.

Just because I've got better things to do with my life than being all nerdy and understanding the ins and outs of software and shit. Like your mum, for instance.

Hey, I could get Falcon 3.0 to work (604k of base memory required out of 640k, however much expanded/extended memory you had, so some inventive config.sys/autoexec.bat fiddling was requried), I can do this. That's the benchmark, mutherfudger.

They're not.

Like I said, they're further away now than they were at the end of series 7.

Am I missing something with this show?

It seems to be a decidedly average sitcom with added Neil Patrick Harris not being in it enough and Alyson Hannigan being (somehow) dumpy looking.

Lots of fast cuts away to one-shot gags, Family Guy style, and Hannigan seems to mostly just stand there and look surprised by everything that's going on around her, as if she's been told "they're going to act, just go with whatever they do".

S08E04 is terrible. When Friends did a "quiz show" episode it was one of the funniest things I've seen.
When HIMYM did it, it was embarrassing.

I'm going to watch an episode of Community now and do comparing.

I can't watch the rest of that episode. I'm done with the whole thing, I think.
Someone tell me when no-balls Moseby meets the mother, and I'll watch that.
