Sticking my Decimator together, aw yea. Tricksy bastard it is too. The legs were hard to get into the correct poses for the glue to dry and to give enough rigidity to support the bulky body. Now to decide which legion to affiliate him with.

Well, there's only one choice.

The Royal British Legion.

Got a Tzeentch Disc Rider in the end, nice one too. Just bidding on a few familiars to odorn his base with as he'll look a little small on his own compared to my other mounted Chaos geezers. Especially the Khorne and Slaneesh Champions, they're whoppers.

Lord of Change is being a naughty little monkey. Third attempt now to get him stood nicely on the base. Due to his weight and his centre of balance, he keeps working himself loose.

I might need a binding spell at this rate. :nerd:

Pin vice drill a leg, snip a paperclip into it, drill through base, et voilà.

Yeah, I've thought of doing something similar if the last gluing doesn't work.

It's because it's the version that looks like he's taking off/landing rather than having both feet planted down.

I'll be ok.

The Moon face and Jester Familiars turned up yesterday, they look great, so small too :luv: ...another 5 varieties on their way this week including the walking spell book and hooded scroll bearer. Just the ticket for adding some interest to my Tzeentchy bits.

Excellent stuff, Dimrill. Those lightning effects must take some time. You must nearly have a Night Lords army by now.

Started painting my Juan Diaz sculpted Daemonettes last night. Wonderful models. Why they replaced these with the plastic set I have no idea. Same goes for the Horrors of Tzeentch.

You tried the new base coat citadel yellow, Dimrill?

Is it nice and opaque? The old one is like a glaze, takes loads of coats.

Have I asked this before?

I haven't, no. Still got almost full tubs of Bad Moon, Sunburst and Golden Yellow to get through. I fucking hate yellow. Like gold it really needs a white undercoat to work, otherwise you can end up slathering it on to try and cover the darker colour.

I haven't ever found a decent yellow paint, including enamel ones. Vallejo model colour is particularly bad.

Paint it white first is the best bet for yellow paints.

Very true, but it still takes three or four coats of vallejo even then. And it's the only yellow I have!

Yeah, thinking back to the last time I used any I had a bit of a struggle. The Revell Aqua Color I was using seemed to have a different characteristic than their other colours too, sort of gloopy and sticky even when thinned down.

Ooh new painted stuff from Dimrill.

Good job(s), bro. Like those Daemonettes, so much nicer models than the plackies.

Is that a GW or a FW Psyker?
