In an effort to do a non shit stag do, my original plan was to go to Vegas next year, however that is on hold for 2 reasons. Firstly, it's a fuck of a long way to go. Secondly, I worked out it was likely to cost at least £2k each. Also, Mrs T and I want to go together at some point, so i'll get to go regardless.

So, instead of that I plan to do another PalmerSport day! :D It's isn't cheap by any means, but it is cheaper than Vegas, and the last Stag Do I went on was to Blackpool for a weekend, and I ended up spending about £500 anyway, in fucking Blackpool!

Why am I telling you this? Well, all Beexers are obviously welcome and i'm gathering numbers, so if you fancy it let me know. It won't be till summer next year, or maybe even the start of November as you get about £150 off in that month (£800 rather than the £950 full price)

http://www.palmersport.com/

Plus, you know, feel free to talk about stag do's and stuff in the thread. What is the weirdest stag do you have been involved in?

Also: £900?! I'm sure it was cheaper than that when I went. Like - considerably cheaper.

It was £850 when I went a couple of years ago. They do half days for cheaper.
What did you do on your day and when was it?

We did GTs - I assume it was a full day as we stopped for lunch and then carried on afterward.

This was about six months after it opened, and the package looks different now.

Hmm. That's a lot of money, but it's sorely tempting.

Bobbyaro's stag was legendary.

They change the cars every year, next year it is:

Ariel Atom
Caterham Superlight
Land Rover Defender
Formula Jaguar single seaters
Palmer Jaguar JP-LM
BMW M3 GT

Plus some arseing about in Caterham 7s doing agility time trial races, and 400cc karting.

When I went they had Clio Cup Racers and 911's instead of the Atom.

Indeed, but the way I figured it I might as well spend the cash doing something I really want to do, than chuck £500 away on a couple of grungey nights out in some shit hole.

Yeah, that is the lowlight of the day, driving along some logs and up and down a few hills isn't that exciting compared to the Tomcat ;)

I'll be up for that.

Provided my clutch/flywheel doesn't go again between now and then ;)

You'll be going out afterward though, right?

Most likely popping to a local pub for a beer or two, I would expect, depends on who comes, if they are staying over etc...

Is you stag do starting the day of this racing event?

If not I would advise you make sure it does, all attempts at a civilized Saturday came to nothing at mine and we were all chewing pints by 1pm. We were in Amsterdam, but mostly everyone just wanted to have a drink to make them better after the Friday.

I also tried Vegas as unlike you my wife refuses to let me go. I found about 5 out of the 15 people who went in the end were able to go. Even my brother who had the least problem of anyone with the expense was getting hassle from his wife about using holiday up on Vegas that could be used with his kids. So in the end we went to Amsterdam and lost just as much at the casino there.
