Hi chaps and ladies... I have tried this and it works, or at least appears to work.

I'm sure they'll shut it down soon, but in the meantime...

Follow these instructions to the full.

Go to sky bet

Deposit £15 in your account, if you don’t have an account, create one and you will also get a free £10 bet

Click on My Account, got to Promotions

Type in Vegas20 – it will say accepted

Go to Sky Vegas and play Roulette

Put £5 on red, £5 on black and 50p on zero (must do)

Spin

Your £20 free bet will now be visible above your winnings at the top of the screen

Now put £10 on black, £10 on red and a quid on zero

Spin, take your winnings and close the window

Go back to My Account>Promotions

Type in Vegas10

Go to Sky Vegas and play Roulette

Put £2.50 on red, £2.50 on black, 50p on zero

Spin

Your £10 free bet will now be visible above your winnings at the top of the screen

Now put £5 on red, £5 on black and £1 on zero

Spin, take your winnings and close the window.

You will be £27 quid up (at least)!

Additional - I recommend using a debit card. Occasionally there are odd rules about withdrawing to credit cards.

You put the promotion code in and it was accepted? Mine just went into the box on the top left of the screen.

I had to close it and re-open it, then it worked. The same thing isn't working for the second bet though, it is redeemed and accepted but not listed in the "offers ready to use" section and not showing at the table. I'm £17.50 up at least anyway even if I can't make it work properly, so cheers :)

Other notes:

I created an account for the wife too, it allows more than one account per house.

If you have to create a new account them you also get a ten pound free sports bet. However, this bet does not refund its stake, so when using it do not bet on a 'sure thing' or the return will suck. I put it on Spurs to win this weekend. Will turn the imaginary tenner into a real fiver (ish). If your risk appetite is higher then Everton away is a decent bet.

Be sure to select your free bet when doing this.

Maybe my free £10 new member bet fucked it up somehow? That's the only difference I can see between me and you two. Anyway, I've lumped that £10 on the draw between Brighton and Leeds tomorrow night at 5/2 so maybe it will make it up to me...

Haha, I'm having to fight the urge to play a bit of blackjack and give it all back.

I managed to mess it up. I put a £5/month limit because, I dunno, I did. And I didn't realise Curio's nistruction said "Deposit £15 in your account,"... :'(

I've upped it, but I need to wait 24h :'(

I also didn't seem to get my free £10, even though the promo code (BET10 or something?) was there.

ALSO: It doesn't think I'm 18?

AHA. The free £10 only comes up when you go to bet on something. It doesn't appear to be part of your account, nor can you split it.

Those of you who have 'withdrawn' your winnings, have you actually been paid yet?

There's going to be something in the T&Cs that states where the casino suspects bonus abuse they reserve the right not to pay, there'll most likely be a specific clause in there about zero-risk betting.

(I'd be very surprised if there wasn't a wagering requirement as well.)

I hope you do get paid 'cause it's always nice to get one over on them, but don't be surprised if you don't get paid, or at the very least get asked to send in photographic IDs and utility bill scans first.

We did have to deposit £15 of our own money. Would that satisfy the wagering requirement?

Tried to sign up, wouldn't let me and immediately told me my account (which I hadn't even created yet) was suspended.

EDIT: "Hayley F" the online support chat person is trying to fix it.

EDIT 2: You're not allowed to open or even access your account if you're outside the UK.

Quote:
Hayley F: Hi, my name is Hayley F. How may I help you?
Hayley F: Good morning.
Stephen Webber: Hi, I have just tried to create an account but it's been immediately suspended
Hayley F: Please can i take your user id?
Stephen Webber: I don't think I got that far
Hayley F: Your full name and post code?
Stephen Webber: Stephen Webber, CF83 3FH
Hayley F: Thank-you
Hayley F: Your user id is: METALANGEL
Hayley F: I will take a look for you.
Stephen Webber: thank you
Hayley F: We are just getting this looked into for you.
Stephen Webber: Ok
Hayley F: It is showing as you are in Canada?
Stephen Webber: What is?
Hayley F: Your trying to bet in Canada.
Stephen Webber: is that a problem? I have a UK bank account, UK passport and UK address
Hayley F: Unfortunately we do not accept accounts in Canada.
Stephen Webber: I didn't see that anywhere in the Ts & Cs
Stephen Webber: if I'd created my account while in the UK and then used it while visiting Canada, would it also have been suspended?
Hayley F: Yes it would unfortunately.
Stephen Webber: I understand
Stephen Webber: Thank you anyway
Hayley F: No problem sorry about that.
Hayley F: Thanks for chatting.
Stephen Webber: Goodbye!

With regard to AE's points, I suspect that is the point of the initial wager we make from
our own freshly deposited money. First thing I did was lose 50p, I've ridden the rollercoaster!

Normally with wagering requirements it doesn't let you withdraw the money if you don't meet them. Given that this let us withdraw it, I would be surprised if it would be blocked in some fashion. They'll make enough from people who stick around on the site to more than offset a couple of grand from opportunists getting 27 quid profit (or more if you got lucky and hit zero).

Well that was the fastest way to throw away £15! Seeing as I'd already loaded it, I figured I may as well stick it on the roulette... Stupid roulette. :(

I did get a £10 free sports bet, so have stuck that on a football team I've never heard of. If I win the £250 on that, I'll buy you a drink too Curio ;)

I'd be amazed if there was a promotion out there with a 1x wagering requirement where zero-risk bets at roulette contributed 100% to the wagering.

I'm not saying Sky Vegas haven't fucked up that much, but if they have, then fair play to you chaps and I hope you get paid - their promotions manager deserves a royal kick up the arse for launching something that massively EV+ out of the door! :)

(I still suspect they'll invoke bonus abuse T&Cs rather than pay, however.)

I put a stack on 'Under 2.5 Goals' for Sunderland/Villa, so not entirely a bad week
