Anyone else partaking?

It'll be ten years to the day this time next week when Natural Selection 2 is released.

The original was a Half-Life mode like no other... a team of human space marines, led by a human commander, gathered resources, built structures and went off into the depths of alien infested spacecraft trying to kill all xeno lifeforms. The alien players, meanwhile, spawn as the 'Gorge' builder class and can either build structures or evolve into one of several alien combat classes. It's a bit like the Zerg.

I've been on the mailing list since the original and pre-ordered this as soon as it was possible to do so on Steam. Fingers crossed it all goes better than Red Orchestra 2 did.

I've never heard of it either but those piccies l look generic for a space marine game. No idea what the game's supposed to be like.

Yes, it is a fairly generic space marine setting. The game itself is a mixture of RTS and FPS.
