Edward “Eddie” Davidson, a notorious e-mail spammer who was sentenced to jail time in April, has escaped from a federal prison camp in Florence, Colorado.

Holy shit, he's dead! And he's taken his wife and kid with him!

Quote:
The man who escaped from a federal prison in Florence after being convicted for sending spam e-mail killed his wife and one of their children before killing himself in an apparent murder-suicide on Thursday.

Oh for fuck's sake. What a dick. If you're going to commit suicide, go quietly, you cunt. Don't take your family with you.

There was a guy on the news not long back who decided life was too hard, and gassed himself inside his car. Except he'd brought his two children along with him. >:(

nyn - there was a guy on the news recently who killed himself and his two kids because he couldn't get custody of them after his divorce. Nice, eh? "If I can't have them no one can".

It's like that fucking retard who jumped out of his 8th floor hotel bedroom window with his two kids last year. I know we're all capable of being selfish, but people like this should be made into pet food, while still alive as far as I'm concerned.

Very few things make me as angry as CG, but this is one of them.

I can't comment on killing your wife; that could very much be revenge and almost justified. But there's no excuse for killing children.

If you kill your loved ones along with yourself then you're not well in the head. So I can't hate him, only feel sorry for him and his family.

It was a low security prison. He could've just walked out the door.

Yeah, just saw that, Ian. Disgusting, really.

FFS, it's just spam. The guy's hardly up there with multiple rapists.

The opening line just did it for me though:

"NOT ALL STORIES have a happy ending, but the tale of escaped spam king Edward "Eddie" Davidson sure does. After walking away from prison, he got a gun, killed his family, then killed himself."

Yes, the fact that the story ended with half of his family dead and his surviving children traumatised for life is a just fucking *peachy* result, you knuckle-dragging, sub-human, cock-munching twat.

Whatever you think of the spammer, regarding the murder of his wife and toddler and the wounding of his teenaged daughter who has also lost her entire family as a 'happy ending' is just plain sick. You'd expect offensive remarks in the comments section as the interweb's knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing tossers come out to play, but that article was written by a professional journalist. :(

I meant his original offence. The Inquirer article seemed not to be particularly bothered that he took out his family, but was pretty joyful that a spammer criminal scum had been wiped off the earth.

That's not an apology, that's a weak attempt at a justification.

Right. Echoing the opinions on 4Chan is not something to aspire to, Inquirer.

Apologies for swearing but....... what the fucking fuck.

That is like saying: a bunch of kids kept kicking their football over my garden fence while they were playing in the street, so I was glad when an icecream van ran them all over.

Really, duds? You can't see the difference between saying "hahahah spammer killed hisself" and "hahahahahha spammer killed his family then hisself"?

And even before that you don't see "hahhahhaha man who vaguely inconvenienced peoples' isps killed hisself" as being vaguely cunty?

Wow.

I don't agree with Duds, but he's not saying that. He's saying he can't see the difference between "hahahaahha spammer killed his family then hisself" and "hahahhaaa your 5 year old daughter was kidnapped, but we think you did it".

Life is much easier if you agree we're all somewhat hypocritical. That way we can maintain our crazy opinions on different issues with no justification.

IMHO, some of the Maddie posts did indeed go too far, but no one said they were glad she was kidnapped, which would've been the equivalent of what that news story did.

In seriousness for a moment, I have to try very hard not to pay too close attention to some of the more awful news stories of the world, because if I do I become rather empathic and far, far too angry. I'm sure this isn't good for me so I try to pay little attention to the things I can't change.
