Aren't you worried about getting arrested for impersonating an RAF officer again?

It's a new coat. A red one. Wivvanood.

And I was berated by a bus driver. I'm not sure where that coat is, but i'll make special efforts to have photos of me striding through the snow in it. Snow so deep you southerners wouldn't leave the house for weeks.

Page impressions down? No worries, let's increase them by trolling our readership. Let's go with "Tattoos you regret", some more about the fur trade and to keep us relevant, and then type some shit about the political relevance of Twitter and how it will defeat Romney. That'll get the comments buzzing and the click throughs working.

Amazing.

They also had an excellent series on why everyone in the west is an evil racist because they don't like some aspects of fundamentalist islam and because all the commenters picked on this islamic dude who said that all non muslims were no better than animals.

Oh, and every article ever on CiF belief.

I hate the Guardian these days.

Yeah, Telegraph or Times for me also, when I can even be bothered with a paper at all.

Cannot stand the Guardian and never have been able to, either. Toynbee alone sees to that, let alone the rest of it - far too much "right on", naive, left-wing-claptrap-PC-bullshit for my taste, usually from people who are clueless and never having done an honest day's work in their entire, mollycoddled Middle Class lives.

Frankly, I'd be far more comfortable with a copy of The Sun in my hand (obligatory fag and/or steaming mug of Builders' Brew in the other), than the Guardian. Hey, at least the Sports section is good and the telly guide is most comprehensive (among certain other aesthetic delights ;) ).

I read the Metro, which is awful, but it is free and convenient. It downloads overnight to my iPad and is there when I sit down on the train of a morning.
I do like to keep up with what the situation with Katie and Tom is, apparently Katie rides the subway and Tom went to a birthday party last night. Oh and Little Mix are wearing PVC in their new pop video, and dinosaurs are related to birds.

Yeah, we get the Times now. It can be a bit irritating (the blonde columnist is annoying, and Matthew Parris can feck off), but it's got Giles Coren so it wins.

I still like The Guardian, and it has pretty much indisputably the best sports team.

The chief sports writer for The Sun, being asked about England vs Poland, couldn't even name any of the Polish team. I mean, how spectacularly ignorant is that? It's worse than the god awful MOTD pundits.

I don't really read papers anymore, but a couple of weeks ago I picked up a colleagues Daily Mail. Urghh.

We should track who purchases that rag, and we should be asking people who take any sort of important job whether they 'are or have ever been a practicing Daily Mail reader'. With an answer of 'yes' instantly disqualifying them.

I only buy newspapers when the guinea pig's house needs cleaning and there's none left to steal from the work shredding pile. I delight in buying the Mail or Sun knowing that I won't even glance at the content and will merely place it beneath a furry creature for it to piss and shit on.

When MrsA goes to Baltimore next week, she's been given the option of taking an iPad or an iPhone and wants to know which is best. I have no idea, but suggested iPad and to use Skype if she needs to do calls, as iPad is probably better when doing a conference. Or soemthing I don't know. I don't get to go to things like that. I turn up at eight and leave at four with an hour for lunch and do my stuff. Quietly. Then return home, and do the washing up. And sit by the door waiting for her to return. Faithful hound that I am. Sometimes, I mnake the oven hot. or put some washing on.

Does she need something to make phone calls on or send text messages with? If the answer is yes: take the iPhone. If she's got that covered some other way then take the iPad.

The company will pay for data charges, I think the iPad is 3G. However, I'm 99% sure they have wifi networks in conference centers in the States.

Twitter, eh? I thought the Graun thought 'Second Life' was the future.
They ought to get readers to write to residents of a small county in the backwoods of Ohio again; the fallout was hilarious when they tried it in 2004.

Maybe that your officers are imbeciles because sticks look fuck all like swords, especially when you are close enough to tase someone. That it's a fucking good job they don't have guns.

Absolutely unbelievable. The guy is 61, blind, and has had two strokes FFS - very lucky they didn't kill him outright!

There was a delegate at my AGM rehearsal today called Mr Alswank.

I have no idea how I kept a straight face. Or why I'm posting it in this thread, but I damn we'll had to share it with someone!
