I've recently started up a company that is moving a lot quicker than I had anticipated, so I need a website pronto! I have bought the domain, but would really appreciate some advice on the quickest and easiest way to create the website - I have some html knowledge, but have never done a website before.

I need something with a home page, image gallery and a products page with shopping basket feature, so a little much for my current webby knoweldge. Can anyone recommend a good (free!) program for creating a site that isn't totally crap or restrictively templated??

Alternatively, if any wonderful soul out there wants to put something basic together for me from the goodness of their heart that I can then manage and update myself, that would be AWESOME!

:luv:

Wordpress and Ecwid are pretty good.
If you don't like Ecwid try WP e-Commerce. Both are free.

Did it once with Drupal and it seemed quite simple.

I heard Joomla is even easier, but that was a long time ago and i don't know what are kids up to these days.

It might be worth having a look at the site Wix.com unless anyone has any horror tales.

I started it and Sam finished it using Weebly, there is a cart option on there too.
