I want (NEED) a shower. My bath runs under my window though and there is no room for a seperate cubicle. Any suggestions that don't involve re-plumbing the whole thing? Can I make curtains out of shower curtains perhaps? :S

Hang on, what? Why not just run a shower head from your plumbing by getting new taps with a shower attachment, like this?

It's not really fixtures I'm concerned about Grim..., it's the water cascading onto the window it's self. But thank you anyway. :)

Is your bath under your window length-ways? Or at one end? Bloody women and their vague descriptions ;)

Hmmm...you could get one of those fancy pants ring shaped curtain rails. You probablt won't have a lot of room inside it though...and then there's the whole shower curtain magnetism thing that warm wet bodies have. Chances are you'll end up wrapped in it!

Only other thing you could do is run a rail along the top of your window near the ceiling and hang a curtain off that.

Oh right. Well, you could get a shower curtain for it, but how come it matters if it gets wet?

Well, I dunno, I just thought it might effect it somehow, make the handle rusty or something (it is double glazed). Nobody has ever asked that before yet it is so obvious. I blame people for not pointing out my wrong thoughts for me! Thanks Grim... :)

Two shower curtains! One for the bathroom side, one for the window side. You could use hanging curtain pole thing for the window side one maybe. Depends how the bathroom is laid out.

Yep. My parents have the same setup. Dad used a long shower curtain over the window and it's fine. The actual shower is so poor, it's like a small boy tinking slowly on your head (I imagine)

My parent's had the same set up but just let water hit the window sill. If it's properly sealed and so on it'll be fine. The window handles were plastic, so no problem there!
