It'll be interesting to see whether the new iPhone, and specifically it's UK version, is LTE capable (as you say in the article of course). The new Galaxy Note isn't likely to be so I'll not be bothered until next year. Personally I genuinely didn't realise LTE was even on the horizon for the UK so I was surprised by the articles I saw about it today. It's possibly worth noting that apparently 3 have bought into EE's new network so they'd be also be an option for any budding iPhone 5 owners looking for LTE action.

The new iPad is LTE compatible, but annoyingly it's on a different spectrum to what we'll be using in this country. Ho hum.

This story is repeated for all sorts of devices and all sorts of countries around the world. The LTE international spectrum is a mess right now.

Build a network that actually works in my living room, then I'll be impressed. Despite Shrewsbury apparently having a full strong 3G signal, I seldom see anything but the Edge symbol on my phone... grumble...!

The thing that bothers me the most is not when I don't have a signal, it's when it tells me I have 3G, yet it doesn't actually work. Having to manually switch to 2G is a ballache and I usually just swear at my phone and give up instead.
