There's very little to go on at the minute because it's all embargoed, but people seem to think that it'll come out on current-gen machines (PS3 AND 360). There are some detailed impressions of the demonstration from *spit* Gamespot here:

Open world is interesting. Suggests something of a change from the heavily linear, cutscene-driven gameplay of the past.

How many hands will I need to make effective use of the controls in this game?

Ten people and six dogs minimum on Kinect.
