I haven't been posting much because my washing machine is fine and I haven't felt like a curry recently, sorry.

My bins were collected yesterday too so that's me out I'm afraid.

Shit, I forgot to tell you all about when I missed the recycling bins. This morning!

Ours are normally picked up on a Monday but because it was a bank holiday they weren't in fact they were picked up on the Tuesday instead.

Its Wednesday today. Fucking WAIT.

Portugal has a totally different bin set up; I'm still trying to get to grips with the finer points of it. Rest assured though my fellow Beexers, I shall report back at length presently*.

My kitchen bin has started to smell even when it is empty, i'm going to have to wash it.

Bizarrely, my home bins are delayed by a day in Bank Holiday weeks, but the work bins (which are just down the road) are collected the same day regardless!!!

I would have done better but you gits had pissed me off with 100+ potw. Also was busy with work on Friday.

Because yesterday felt like Monday, I nearly forgot to put the bins out. I remembered late last night and had to get dressed again to put them out.

I made spicy curry for dinner last night, only it wasn't really spicy enough and then today I offered to take the vegetable waste down to the composter. Also my friend's mother left the recycling box in the middle of the kitchen to remind her to put it into the bin. And yesterday I blew my nose and the bin on the street was full so I had to push stuff in before my used kleenex would fit in it.

We got a new shredder. It even does staples and credit cards. But the collection bin is a bit on the small side.

No chance, I had to buy an expensive one that wouldn't break after Mrs T, the delicate flower that she is, managed to repeatedly stamp on the foot pedal hard enough to break it. I kept fixing it, but it lasted a day before it was broken again.

Washing is the choice, i'm not spending £50 on a bin again in a hurry.

I remembered to put the bin out this morning. Normal refuse, only half-full!

My shredder gives up after about 5 sheets, then you have to wait 20 minutes while it cools down.
On reflection, I shouldn't have bought the £19.99 Argos one...

If I were a brilliant spy (I'm not, merely average. I'm too honest "What is you do?" "I work at a company that does, um, really good stuff..Actually, I'm here to nick stuff like information and sell it to the highest bidder"). I'd break into offices and stick a small scanner before the shredding blades run by a feed from the motor. This also powers a small circuit board of my own design, linked into a repurposed wireless dongle from a Kindle that converts stuff into .pdf and sends it through Amazon's whispernet to my Kindle.

I put the full bag from the kitchen bin into it as I left for work, this filling it. Result? A full bin.

Our council tax has been worthwhile.
