Former & current WOS users may remember that I've posted huge lists of cheap older PC games in the past.

I currently have around 200 older titles (all in dvd cases, the vast majority XP compatible).

Before I list them on Ebay as large job-lots (to probably be bought by shop/market traders), I wondered if anyone here might be interested in seeing a list of them ?

The vast majority will be £1 each (plus postage - probably £1.20 for a single title, then 40p for each additional title - good quality jiffy bags will be used - will be a small additional amount if you want to pay by paypal to help cover fees - cheques & bank transfers are fine too).

An example of some of the better-known titles : Serious Sam, Deus Ex, Driver, Preatorians, Swat 3, Indiana Jones & The Infernal Machine, Black & White, Prince Of Persia - Sands Of Time, Fallout 2, early Tomb Raider games, Project IGI 2, Splinter Cell, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, Thief 1/2 etc.

I don't have a list typed out yet, so a fair bit of interest would be required to motivate me to do so (previous threads on WOS usually generated about 10-15 interested replies for a list, followed by 4 or 5 people buying several titles each - they were £1.50 each then - which was just about worthwhile).

Just thought it was worth mentioning in case anyone's interested.

If so, just reply with something like "Ooh ! Yes please ! List-me-do !!", and if there's enough interest I'll get a list sorted out.
If not, no probs, and this thread can fade into obscurity....

You're also an excellent driver.

I would also like to see lists, as my laptop will probably play older titles.

I'd be interested if there's any obscure old point-and-click adventures.

I'd like to see a list, and dibs on AvP or AvP2.

Why not take a photo of them if you can't be bothered to make a list? Then we can play 'spot the game', too.

Indeed, I once even wondered if maybe we should have a lists sub-forum, since making lists is fun and there are plenty that could be made. But, in hindsight, I'm glad it's all in the same forum.

Yeah, but then that sub-forum would display a list of the lists which would break the world.

List of things we should do:

1) Make lists.
2) Make a list of those lists.

Oh, and game us up. I also have a knackered old laptop, and older games may actually work for me.

Yes please! I run my PC gaming experience at least 3 years or so behind the curve due to being a cheapskate when it comes to upgrading.

Berty: I still have the big envelope you sent me all those games in. I still use it. It currently holds some important docs that I need whilst I hobo around. If you have a camera, that idea sounds fab. Let US make the list! Chirp.

Right, I'll try and sort out the list over the weekend when I have some time.

The photo idea is a possibility. However, it's not ideal since a) my digital camera isn't too great- it's a £30 job I got from Tesco about 3 years ago and so I'd probably need to take quite a few pictures in order for all the titles to be legible b) Apart from the £1 games there will also be some other PC games - plus possibly console games and dvds - with various prices c) It'll be easier to keep track of what I've got left with a list since I can just delete each title as it sells. I could also then pimp the list around other people after folks here have bought what they want.

I'll see if I can think of a practical way of doing it but I think a list is likely to be the best option, even though it's going to bore me to tears typing it out.......

Edit (30th July) : Been really busy the past few days and not had time to sort out the list yet (plus I'm waiting on a couple of small "buy-it-now" job lots I've got on Ebay to end on 31st July - If they don't get sold I'll add the individual games to the list).

Should have it sorted by this coming weekend then I'll probably start a new thread.
