My friend Rachel, (although, I haven't seen her in over a decade now) was an air hostess. She loved it.

Denver. Arrive Sunday at 11:40, depart Tuesday 00:45.
Rio. Arrive Saturday 23:55, depart Monday 12:15.

They get at least 1 full day and night at each longhaul, for the shorthauls it depends on flight times, but usually they have time to explore and go out of a night if they want.
4* hotel, all paid for, £500 a month to spend how they want on food, drink etc... It's not a bad life...

I have a sore ankle, and I want to complain about it loads because it fucking hurts but I'm refusing to go to the hospital so I feel I can't really whinge too much about it. My reason for not going to the hospital, is that they'll do one of two things:

Put a cast on it and give me crutches; or do nothing, except put a bandage on it and tell me to take anti-inflammatories.

I don't want to risk option one, as I'm too busy to not be able to walk round site or not be able to drive, and option two is just a waste of trip to the hospital. So I'm just going to sulk, instead.

I'm not really sure what having talks will do to stop people kneecapping each other in Bradford. Still, at least the police are seizing 5 cars a day for no insurance. YAY! Top 20!

This definitely isn't broken but I'd say there was a fair amount of ligament damage, judging by where the bruises are and where it hurts. Last time I got a similar injury, they put a cast on. My steel toe-cap boots are pretty supportive, though...
