Hello! I've just been advised by my friend that our 'trip to the pub' tomorrow is going to be an early afternoon thing so I'll be around in the afternoon after all.

I therefore request and demand that we play something tomorrow night.

Please vote for a game from the list, and we'll play it starting from 20:00 British Summering Time.

That's cool, I had no idea it was going to be possible until a short time ago when my friend told me it was going to be a 'late lunch'. I'm unfortunately busy every night now until I go.

Happy with anything that isn't Forza, basically. But I'll have to dash off and do a stupid thing in L4D with some TA people at 9 anyway

Happy to do any of those apart from Gears.

I can't do that as I'll be having a glass of wine with Lizzie Armistead. And then we'll walk hand in hand over the Chevin.

I'll play Burney Pee, Gears 3, or Forza 4. (I traded RDR in. I think I still have Burney Pee though.) Also willing to duck out if you run out of spaces, as I'm seeing you on Friday and these guys aren't.

Also, no UT3 option?

Sadly this is the problem we have these days. The number of games now available for the system is so huge that we rarely agree on (or even own) the same ones anymore.

It was easy when we just had Halo 3 and Forza 2!

Having a broad choice doesn't stop you from playing something else for a few hours one evening.

No, but I mean for example, I said I'd play any of those four bar Gears, Alberto said any of them except Forza, Gaywood said any but RDR and TV said only Gears. It's impossible to get a consensus.

That's because they don't own the games, that's a bit different.

I just have to say 'right, we're playing this, come if you like'. What's sad is that this sort of thing means we'll never get the epicness of that Halo 3 night again, or the Kangaroo Defense.

I fucking loved that Halo 3 night. I'd just got my 360 and I can remember it vividly. Hilarious japes.
