I have this collection of words rattling around in my brain box. I wish to do something with them.

"The Management of Cezar Manuel"

I don't kno what, though. It could be my new band name 9if I were to have a band) or a book about a slightly wrongly wired person that does stuff for someone else, and this book is hadned from boss to boss.

I dunno. What do you think?

Who is Cezar Manuel, and why does he need managing?

It's the title of a forgotten Philip K Dick book about a neurotic salesman whose whole life is being stage-managed by the Government because the terrifying dreams he has, which are driving him insane, are actually messages from telepathic aliens.

When I read the header, I actually thought he'd be a Mexican industrialist who successfully married low pay with high workplace morale.

Then he wrote a book about it, with that title, but known colloquially among English-speaking businessmen as Manuel's Manual.

It actually sounds like it should be Book 4 in the series that started with "Ayuamarca" by Darren Shan.

I quite like the spy/thriller title convention of "The Trondheim Mosaic" or "The Enigma Variations" or "The Menu Dispute". You seem to be following the "Noun of person" format, like "Le plume de ma tante".

Cesar Manuel is a Commercial Banker at United Commercial Bank and Banking Consultant; his current role is Training Management Program.*

*I am not convinced that is a role.

This sounds like a movie that would star Gael Garcia Bernal

The Management of Manuel Cezar scans better, I reck. Management is a bit of a bland noun for a book or film title though.

Also, is he being managed or is he the one doing the managing?

Manuel Cezar is on Facebook:

That, surely, is the entire premise of the book?

Or, maybe Cezar Manuel is actually Manuel Cezar, who is his manager.

I have avoided this thread because I thought it was about boxing, just clicked into it by accident. So, a film about a boxer.
