Slightly bemused waking up and seeing the tweets of people who watched the American coverage at how many were criticising the way the torch was lit and those who were chosen to light it, seemingly because it wasn't someone 'famous' enough.

I'd gone to bed after the procession and have just watched it. It was beautiful.

For some reason he started singing out of time with the prerecorded version of his voice, then the whole song just sounded out of time. I'm not sure how much of that was due to the acoustics in the stadium, though.

Oh dear. Was he in tune at least? I'm not really a fan of McCartney, but it seems to have gained a lot of attention. I'm glad I didn't see it to dampen the overall impression of excellence I had. I thought it was amazing.

I'm not sure he did have a pre recorded version playing. I thought that the TV feed or stadium acoustics had a delay on them as the rest of the band (and Macca himself) didn't seem to notice the delay.
