 Post subject: iPhone + GPS solution

So, me and my gf are going to norway in august for a roadtrip.

We really needed some app or solution for the iphone to have the maps preloaded so we could use the gps navigation on the road without internet. Gmaps has some cache functionalities but I'm not sure it's that reliable, and it's not the best tool for navigation.

Ideally it would be something not expensive and that would support kmz/kml files since i'm planning the trip on google earth.

Co-Pilot Live is very good and not all that expensive. I've been using it for years and had no real issues at all.

Co-Pilot does not need an Internet connection. All the maps are local and it uses the GPS chip.
