Anybody seen it, plan on seeing it, etc... early reviews seem great!

I'm going to try and get to a showing on Sunday afternoon, at my local rundown Odeon, which will most likely be empty. :) However I am tempted to try and see it at an IMAX in that there London next week.

OH FUCK. :'(

"Ten shot dead at Batman film premierre"

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-18921492

Quote:
Ten people have been killed in a shooting at a Batman film premiere in the US city of Denver, local media say.

More than 35 people had been injured in the incident, it is reported.

A reporter for the 9News website at the scene says a gunman opened fire at the movie cinema complex in Aurora, where three theatres had a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises.

Witnesses said someone wearing a gas mask opened fire and there were also reports of a lot of smoke.

The Swedish Medical Center, which is not the area's main hospital, told the BBC it had received three gunshot victims.

Many ambulances are at the scene and it not clear if there is an active manhunt for the attacker.

NBC News reports that one suspect was in custody.

A witness told 9News that during a shooting scene in the film he heard loud bangs and a lot of smoke and initially thought they were live special effects put on by the cinema.

Projectiles came through the wall from the neighbouring theatre screening, where it appears the shooting occurred.

I'll be off to see it on Saturday night with a friend.

The shooting sounds insanely grim. Some nutjob wearing a gasmask and riot helmet opening up with a shotgun and rifle in a Denver screening. Not good.

Clearly not. But, I'm going to give him a 2x bonus modifier for relevant thematic fancy dress.

I've already got a ticket to see it at the IMAX on August 26th - also seeing Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom that day at Somerset House. I'm going with the girlfriend and her brother, but have had to warn both that I'll probably not be able to resist the temptation of seeing TDKR at a regular cinema beforehand.

That shooting though... bloody hell.

It took place in Aurora, which, according to an email received by the BBC, is suffers a high crime rate, and a man in his 20s has been cuffed with a handgun and a rifle in his car.

Quote:
1044: Jenn, Denver emails: Aurora is known to have a very high crime rate and to be honest, as unfortunate as the circumstances, this is not that surprising for the area.

They should have taken the guns out of his car before chaining him into it, reckon.

Wiki says no... only proper spectacles gave the +2 PER Bonus, only in New Vegas, and only if you took the Four-Eyed trait. Otherwise (and in FO3) you just get +1 Damage Resistance

I hope Bane is good. Is this version a 'reimagining'? He has a respirator thing instead of the luchador mask, isn't south American, and doesn't appear to be absurdly huge.

What happened to Scarecrow? Did he just tootle off into the sunset after the first one? I don't think he got captured or maybe I fell asleep and missed the end. It's all a much of a muchness anyway 'cause these Batman films are utter dogshite.

Aren't they just. The first one I did fall asleep during it, and the second one lasted about half an hour before I turned it off in disgust. Stupid voiced Batman stands out like a sore thumb when you take away Gotham.

You'd think they'd use a different prison by now, at what point will the realise that putting all these insane criminal masterminds in the same extremely unsecure place is probably a bad idea.

Batman goes to a monastery and batmans there, then there's a thing on a train with scarecrow shouting out of a helicopter and then it ended.
