Turns out there was a Terminator sent back in time to implant a device in your body that makes you incapable of being anywhere near networking equipment without breaking it.

Set a honeytrap where you're being wrong about Amstrad and/or ITV from the 70s/80s.

Or even just mention in passing anything at all that could be even vaguely linked to the idea of a concept that barely relates to radio 1 DJs from the last four decades.

Heh

Is it a sign of age, mental illness, or a lack of sunlight (or indeed all three) that I'm really excited about buying one of these? I've got some old Hornby steam engines, but I just love the US diesels. Also, the Bachamnn EZ track will be a lot easier to set up on the carpet than the traditional Hornby stuff. /nerd

Check out this North Korean anti-American/anti-capitalism propaganda film. It's completely spot on.

The person who posted it on reddit said "the lie is more truthful than the truth".

Hello!

Thought I'd finally delurk, join and say hi. I've been reading Beex for a very long time but only just got around to registering.

I'm married to GovernmentYard but don't let that put you off... I've met a few of you over the years over beer, been helped to move house by some and will see anyone else on August 11th if you make it out to Cardiff. Oh and you were all a great source of info when I was working down in London/Tottenham during the riots (best source of news when I was on my travels)!

So, er, hi :)

This afternoon at work, I got bored, and my mind wandered. Does anyone remember M.U.S.C.L.E. figures? Pink dudes that you bought in buckets in about 1990? Here.

I want some now.

I totally remember those little dudes. They were awesome. Not as awesome as GI Joe, or those little dudes with the magnet feet, though.

I was watching the TdF highlights earlier:

MrsA: "That's what he did!"
Mali: "Who the what now? This is an interesting bit about feeding stations and..."
MrsA: "He invented the bicycle!"
Mali: "The what the who?"
MrsA (proudly): "We were talking about it at work today. Sir Walter Raleigh invented the bike"
Mali: "yes. Yes he did, dear".

I liked spacey or weird stuff. Magnet Blokes, Transformers and Visionaries were more my bag.

Aaah, very valid reason.

I'd really like to find some non-shit Transformers cartoons. I remember them being better than they were. Everything was better when I were a kid etc.

Yeah, Starcom! I like it when Mr Kissyfur is back.

I heard of Monster in My Pocket today, when I was looking up M.U.S.C.L.E. Both Mattel, apparently. Sort of rings a bell.

Muscle thingies were the little pink dudes? I seem to recall loving them.

Hello Magenta.

And WTB turning out this way after watching 18 rated films is a powerful argument for censorship.

There's many bits to DirectX and each game needs certain bits, or something. It's been inadequately explained to me in the past.

Just tried to go out for a nice evening in town, to celebrate all the immigration forms being done.

Wetherspoons was far too loud, we could barely hear each other, and so we retired to the pub at the end of our street.

All was well until the karaoke machine was started and "Dirty Old Town" and "Oh Carol" were massacred. We drank as fast as we could but not before hearing "Return To Sender" and "Smoke On The Water".
