Also, I think he's tried to have 1975 tatooed onto his neck, but it's been done really, really wrong.

A google search for "Bloody masquerade" launches you into a scary underworld of Vampire Emo Fan Fic.

Also, the groom's hair looks like he shaved those letters into the back of his head himself.

I'm not looking at 4 photos. Also, I was referring to picture 1 which made the coat of arms look like a hat.

yeah, I realised that, but still, his hair. and that tattoo, and that strip, if you were really going to do such a thing, why would you choose to wear the lurid yellow away strip?

Flightcontrol, I kept them circling for ages and almost hit a helicopter, so it's my own fault.

How fucking long has The Line been in development? I think the only game that I can recall reading excited previews of for so long is the new Tomb Raider.

Corn on the cob is lovely.

15 minutes in the bathroom immediately after trying to floss it all back out isn't.

Ah bugger! You need a sturdy fence with gaps for wind. I'll order the wood tomorrow.

You should get those brackets that connect your panels and stop them rattling around.

Fun things to do with a throbbing hangover: drive to Long Ashton and sit in a community centre full of shrieking birthday cake-fuelled six year olds.

Decided against going to party as I'm somewhat tired. The Olympic Toorch is coming around Bradford way tomorrow, as well, and I want to do cycling at Dalby, too, before picking MrsA up from the train station and watching the football.

After the children's birthday party, we got to walk Mrs Metal's sister's insane beagle around the grounds of the Long Ashton manor house, getting absolutely soaked and covered in grass in the process. By the time we returned to her other sister's house (elder sister getting tired of younger's dog, which had already chewed on the rug and pissed on the front door... on the inside) I was weak and shaky with hunger having only had two slices of toast, a few grapes and two tiny, tiny little cupcake things all day.

So we retired to the pub for gorgeous, huge, posh fish and chips. A frought drive in the pissing down rain followed with the fuel light on all the way to the services.

Highlight of the day had to be the fancy dress contest at the party... the winner was Rapunzel, aka Jack. Yes, Jack, a boy, but dressed as a girl, won.

This whole 'having kids' thing seems to be right silly. My boss has been on a "Stork walk" around the wards, spend hundreds of pounds on a pram, and his wife is going to be paying upwards of £60 for some 'bump photos'. Naturally, we're sympathetic to this, and aren't tkaing the piss at all.

A Facebook friend of mine posted various photos of her bump in the latter stages of her pregnancy, but in each one, her bump was painted with a different design by a friend. To be fair, the Death Star one was pretty impressive. :)

Cripes. I thought they'd be, like £50 or something.

EDIT: In my mind, most things tend to either cost £5, £10 or £50.

In fairness, Grim... did buy a top of the range pram, cut the bodywork off the chassis and put a new one on, then spend six months welding on accessories.

Our 'Travel system' was knocking £750 all told. Half of the things we paid for in that number were too small for The Boy at 6 months. We paid £80 for a car seat base unit which only made a £20 reserve when we sold it on Ebay yesterday.

We had to get a new pushchair and car seat to replace all of that at further cost of £500 at 9 months old.

Fucking child. He'd better be good at a well paid sport.

Possible positive movement on my employment status. I'll know more by the end of the week. might have to dig out that link of DoccyG's about renumeration.

EDIT: Unless, of course, hilariously, my boss goes on paternity leave before that point, which is likely.

Ask them to discuss remuneration rather than renumeration. Unless you really like counting.

Oddly enough, I do have a spare chassis for the current setup, and I did customise it with a pint-glass holder (it wasn't welded, though).

"Lollipop Chainsaw" just leapt up my list of "things I would quite like". A chainsaw wielding cheerleader carrying around the disembodied head of her boyfriend whilst killing zombies to rock music? Why, you shouldn't have!

I've never really messed with Dos box. Has anyone? Is it hard to get working?
