I'm pretty fucking good at my job!

just remotely fixed some software that was scheduled to be a hard drive replacement, meaning the site would be down until a new HD would get there, and then a 3-4 hour procedure would need to be done to get them up and running again.

If only someone who controlled the purse strings would realise how good I am :(

ASDA are upping their game in the "food for the office bound" stakes, including microwave curry and rice meals that also include a naan!

However, the best new thing is the Piri Piri Chicken pasta salad. The chicken and pasta is flavourful and supplemented with actual jalapeño slices. The salad (in a separate compartment) comes with a packet of dressing. Lovely, perfect for hot weather like this as opposed to a sandwich. The only problem: it's 62% of your GDA fat intake. Celery and cress for dinner, then.

Doing alright so far. Sister's wedding, round of golf with the Old Man and BrotherPaz and a day trip to Whitby for ice cream, beach fun and fish and chips.

Not back in work for a week, either :D

Why does your iTunes data say you've watched it over 1000 times since Christmas then?

Genuine luls in the Bulge household! The remains of said Pink Lady apple were in my empty tea cup on the floor next to the sofa. When I wasn't looking, a very cheeky rabbit dipped her head in the cup and made off with the apple, running across to the other side of the living room to feast under a chair. When I tried to grab it back off her, she kept running off. :D

As someone who has always had dogs as pets, I've seen this sort of thing before, but I had no idea rabbits were this cheeky!

Ask them to unblock it from the filter under the pretence a work e-mail has gone there and you need to forward it, then hope they forget to restrict it again.

You've read my experiences with this IT department, haven't you?

I'll go home at lunchtime, and check.

Still no news on this job situation. Feeling a bit miserable over it, right now. Still, seeing Simon Amstell tonight, so that should be funny. Red shirt is washed and ironed.

Recycling truck is outside as I speak collecting recycling bin (which has been almost full for weeks and I kept forgetting).

Also, I haven't used my boiler in ages! Nor my hot sauce.

City Link tried to deliver my camp beds yesterday, and i was out. I suspect tomorrow evening I've got an 80 minute round trip to the depot and back, all for £30s worth of bed. To do this, I need two forms of ID, too. The need to be signed for, apaprently. Hope the neighbours are in and can hang on to them for me.

I seem to have forgotten to post here for two months. As I result, I missed something called Awesome Island which did indeed seem awesome. :(

Still, at least I've missed several posts from myp.
