I thought we were talking about grim...s office. If they're doing manual labour to take the temp much higher there's something we don't know about.

If its the server room, they'll be broke in 5 minutes do nothing to worry about anyway.

If you fairies stopped diluting your beer you'd be able to handle -10°C no bother. Poofs.

There's a sign up outside a pub in Otley which says "Due to the ongoing water shortages, all our beer will is now served at full strength". Which made me smile, the other day.

It was roasting in my work this weekend, even with my summer overalls on, every time you opened an electrical panel you were just hit by a wall of heat from the inverters.

Where was all this "minimum temperature" talk a couple of winters ago when I made a post on here asking if anyone knew about shit like this?!? I was stood in sub-zero temperatures looking at my own breath as our warehouse heater was being serviced and our shutter door was forced to be open because a delivery driver reversed into it and it was awaiting repair, and all I got in response was "dunno, depends on the circumstances I guess but I doubt you can do much about it  "

Well, you never asked me. I've known the magic number for about nine years!

My office was built down the side of a large open area along a few years ago when we needed to expand.

Prior to the expansion the space was empty and we didn't pay rent for it.

They didn't think the AC through, so when somebody calls up and complains about their office being too hot or cold it gets changed

That change is then balanced by another office that gets too hot or too cold.

Two weeks ago I called saying my office was too hot, now I need to have my jacket on all the time.

Give up now, as cold I can deal with just not hot
