You've probably overtaken me again then, as I've not played for a couple of nights.

On the stats page, what does it mean by "level"? as I seem to be a lowly level 1, wheras you are level 8?

Managed to get an hour in last night and got loads more Silvers on some of the Hard levels and a couple of Golds too. I thought I'd be rusty coming back from nearly a weeks break, but if anything I'd say I've really improved.

I EVEN BEAT TROUSERS ON ONE OF THE CHALLENGES!!!!1111111

Has anyone downloaded any of the user tracks yet? I did last night and played some multiplayer tracks.

Some of them are quite good!

No, not tried any of those, or the multiplayer stuff either.

If you go on Red Lynx Picks, someone has copied the brick challenge from Timesplitters 2.

I'll investigate when I get chance.

BTW hit me up for some multiplayer if you see me online.

Good work! I'll have another go at some point. I did only give it a couple of tries to get the gold medal.

I've just had a fruitless session attempting to gold Gigatrack. I'm within the faults limit, but need to find about 35 seconds. Not faulting at all will help with this, as some of the checkpoints are miles apart!

I've delved into multiplayer recently which is most enjoyable. In single player the best I can hope for is 2nd because of Myp and ramsea, I dont understand how he gets off the start line before everyone else :!: :?:

He insists the host lets him in the lobby before everyone else to "avoid connection issues"

That's Forza, Forza multiplayer is broken. Trials multiplayer I suck at. I try and go too quick and inevitably crash. Slowly slowly catch the monkey seems to be the best strategy.

On at least one of the tracks he gets a lead by doing a forward roll off the ramp instead of a regular jump. I do it too as keep pace with him, but regularly balls up somewhere else on the level.

Is it that bloody bridge one? I proper suck at that one, can't keep any sort of momentum through any part of the track.

Gigatrack gold, perfect run - 10 seconds quicker than Dimrill. :DD

-edit- that puts me top of the Global Rankings on my friends list and the only person to have got gold for all Beginner, Easy and Medium tracks. :)

Who needs to glorify bagatelle?

I don't see The Who writing any classic songs about flippy skippy dirt bikes...

I even watched a YouTube video of it, and the guy just gets launched from the ramp at a billion mph. Oddness.

For best speed, start slowly, and after about 1/3rd of the distance, ramp up to full throttle, as for launching, I'm not very good at that!

I'm bloody stuck on Getting Giga Gold at the moment.

4-5 times I've made it to the double High Jump without crashing, but last night I got there with 2 faults (straight after check points, so minimal time lost, even if they were in places where I wouldn't normally crash). Then I crashed on landing of the jump after the 2nd high jump (rarely crash there), then I was faultless until the penultimate wooden boards, I noticed the time, and I thought I was going to get gold, and then wham, I fell off again. 4 faults, and 10 seconds slower than my best time (which I need to shave 20-30 seconds off for gold).

Last night I tried to do it front of my eldest and youngest, and I really can't talk and play trials at the same time!

Engoldened.

I'm now trying to pass Lab Rat faultlessly while staying on fire the whole level. It's not easy.

Fuck off Giga!

Just got to the bit where the explosions happen without crashing and then died 4 times (I rarely die there!) and then missed out on gold by 3.3 seconds!

FFS

I was about 4-5 seconds slower to that point than I normally would be (I was just behind you, rather than in front of you)

Still, getting there!

It's so easy, I don't know why you're struggling.

It's probably the easiest track I've ever raced.

Finally Gold!

2 faults! :( but I think I can take a minute off that time if I can do it without faults (also I took 2 attempts at 2 jumps)

But first, let's see if I can get some more golds in the hard courses!

Its really easy. Reverse back at the start to gain a longer run up. Then when you bail, mash them buttons as fast as you can. From my experience the launch isnt all that important, its more down to button mashing speed. I managed to max it out without too much effort.

Just spent a good couple of hours getting first in all the first set of hard tracks. Although I think in missing a few people I noticed a lack of map for one.

I'm concentrating on getting golds in the 2nd set of hard at the moment (I have about 3-4 silvers left to convert to golds)

When I've done that I might go back and try and get the fastest time on some of the earlier tracks.

I know I don't have everyone still on my friends list, but then I guess lots of people are near their 100 limit and as I really only play this, might not want to add me.

Shame though, I feel as though I am missing out against some...

177 medals and I think I'm finally done with this. I'm top of the Global Rankings (Friends) and now have more medals than WTB, so I think it's time it goes into unofficial retirement. I can't do the last three Extreme tracks, and I've hit a brick wall (figuratively as well as literally) halfway up the Hard tracks with regards to getting Golds on them.

I've put nearly 20 hours into this though, so that's pretty good value for my £10, I reckon.

Max Payne 3 tomorrow!
