Whenever I get a cold call, whoever they ask for, I tell them they're dead.

If it's research, ask them if they are MRS accredited (if they're not, they can't call it market research), ask them if there's an incentive, then ask them to send you the incentive, which they have to do without you having to answer any more questions (except for reasonable ones they need to know to get the incentive to you).

I do remember very creatively telling an indian cold caller to fuck off, and the guy kept calling back. No amount of abuse was putting him off. Then I told him the person he was after was dead, and he apologised, hung up, and didn't call back. Odd.

Christ - you killed your flatmate to stop a cold caller? You are pure evil.

Feel tired. The girl in the bar was called Kate and she 'didn't want to go home' so I fucked off and left her drinking alone. She had a lovely arse, mind you.

Miffed I was not able to play Mafia, as no phone/it access on customer sites..

Big Yay. George enjoyed his 3rd Birthday party on Tuesday. 3 years that has gone quick.

A friend has asked me to be a trustee of the charity they are setting up. Could be, um, interesting.

Had a text from RoyalMail: your package has been delivered. Ace.
Two hours later, another text: We have received your parcel back at the depot, and will attempt redelivery.

System must be playing up, as package is confirmed as being in the house.

That was a lot of curry I just ate. Handi Chicken, lamb something or other, chicken korma, pilau rice naan bread. Followed by some lovely chocolate pudding thing. Then ice cream. before all that, I had two kebabs, and a popadom. £7.95. Get in.

I've spent the afternoon teching student drama performances. Yay! A fit girl in her pants! Nay! A PETA video showing the worst slaughterhouse abuse I have ever seen. Yay! A cute doggy! Nay! Simulated forcefeeding.

All told, an interesting afternoon.

£36.99 including delivery from an Ebay seller. I was going to get just the keyboard from this seller for £28.99 but figured I'd get both and sell/trade the game on. :)

EDIT - there's another with both here

I've been quite lucky with Dreamcast games of late.. they've generally been in very good condition. But in this case, you're right - all broken!

Someone's just turned up with two trays of pies. They look and smell lovely.

EDIT: Vegetable samosas, prok pies, minced beef pies, sausage rolls, savoury rolls, and a couple of quiches.

The samosa was a goods tart to opne up my daily pie account with. The sausage roll was decent, the pastry didn't get in the way of the filling. I think a beef pie is next, and it isn't even 10am. Possibly the best day of the year?

One of the girls in our personal tax department has a friend who runs a curry house in the Peckham area. As a tax department, the partners and managers don't buy birthday cakes, they put a standard order in for 150 samosas between approx 20 tax staff on average. They last until lunch.

My boss is out. His boss is out. It's dress down day so I came to work in jeans, trainers, a t-shirt and a hoodie. I'm going for leaving drinks after work and have a pass to stay out.

Friday looking gooooood!

I left £50 sitting in a self-service checkout machine today, and didn't realise until hours later. Thankfully, all I needed to get it back was my receipt!
