My company needs its website "rescuing" - it's a crufty Joomla site, running an old version. The administration panel has been frozen for months. It's fairly useless as a CMS due to the way it's been set up, and it needs a good refresh, a change of host and then handing over properly to our marketing people.
Anyone do this sort of thing as a contractor, is available, and can talk prices?

Sounds out of my league construction wise, but I could create any branding/imagery you might want if it needs a makeover.

I know a guy who's the Don with Joomla. I'll hook you up when I get to a PC.

When you say it's an old version of Joomla, do you know the version number? Although the latest one is 2.5 and there are 1.6 and 1.7 versions available, I've stuck with 1.5.25 for now as it's nice and stable and all the add-ons I need work with it. And what do you mean about the admin panel being frozen?

My guy works with Drupal, not Joomla. Oh well.

What's the budget. Our place could certainly do it, but I suspect the cost would be magnitudes too much! However, I might know a couple of guys who would want to do it on the evening and weekends.

Does it need to stay on Joomla? If not, hit us up (see sig) but, like Trooper, I would imagine we'd be too expensive.

I work with several who do this in their spare time as a side line.
I can ask them (probably closer to the price bracket you want) if you'd like?
