I'm officially never voting Lib Dem again. Not much more to say thant that, really. Other than that Shirley Williams has managed to go from maverick hero to uttertool in the space of a couple of months.

Anyway, more importantly, I'm at a conference in London today, and one of the delegates is a spitting image of Inarra (the grown up one), and another is Thor in a suit. Awesome.

Relatedly, I was surprised to discover I could turn off the camera clicky sound on my phone. I thought it was some kind of anti-perv requirement that it couldn't be switched off.

On my old Nokia N95, you could turn it off, but if you set the language to Japanese it would wind the clicky noise up to full and not let you change it. Those pervy Japanese!

Fucking labels in clothes! Gnnaagghh! I have one stitched in the seam down one side of my vest that is clearly made from cactus spines covered in itching powder. I am going to go insane, quite soon.

If it's part of the seam she'll be left with a hole in the side of her top. Happened to me when I picked out a label from a new running shirt. Stupidest designed things ever.

Mind you in flis' case this could result in side-boob flashing or something, so you might wish her to proceed.

Before you go insane, try getting some scissors and cutting the thing out. This is risky of course because if it doesn't work and you go insane while still holding the scissors then the people around you are probably in a lot of trouble so it depends how much you value you them.

And if you've already gone insane while I was typing this then just ignore anything I said about scissors. In fact, try not to think about them at all. Seriously.

A man came to the door. He wanted to know who I was as he was from Yorkshire Water. His car and badge said otherwise, and I said "we've recently moved in and I don't tell people who come to the door my name as a matter of course. He looked a bit put out by this but soon recovered and said that "I don't look like the sort of scumbag that doesn't pay" so I bade him good day and closed the two doors that bar myself from my flock. There's a reason I always choose places to live that don't have doorbells.

One just called and got my surname wrong. I said there was nobody by that name here, and she politely explained she was calling to survey SEAT and Skoda owners regarding their aftersales experience. I was almost tempted to say that not even having my name correct was quite indicative of the aftersales care I got from my local Skoda dealer but before I could she asked if there was anyone there who owned one. I said I used to, and she thanked me for my time and apologized for the interruption.
