I'm quite handy with an 1861 Springfield. Don't make me show you my bayonet :)

That's a rifle, isn't it? Or a musket, maybe. Or both. I suspect it's both.

It should be a rifle musket, but as I only burn powder the barrel is smoothbore so it can be classed as a shotgun. Amusingly, some of our artillerymen's cannons are shorter than they should be so they too can be called 'shotguns'.

Of course, that's how it works in England. Things are way easier over here in Tennessee (which reminds me - I need to give a guy a call who offered to take me shootin' one day).

Craster
Malabelm
Mrs Malabelm

Cheers to Ramsea and Flis for the deposit monies.

The actual deposit is (more than) paid now, so no further cash necessary until the balance is due.

Though if you feel a burning desire to pay more now, my overdraft thanks you.

Make your fucking mind up, you dick.

Also, the wife is likely going to Ireland this weekend now, avec child. Dunno if this will change the plans of your wife.

If it makes you feel any better, MrsA and I have been invited to a wedding the weekend after the cottage. They still haven't sent their invitations out. When they do, and it will clash with the cottage due to improbable dates mix-up, imagine the scenes at MaliTowers(Northern outpost)that will ensue. I'm not missing the Cottage III for a wedding. In Essex. Even whilst MrsA is a bridesmaid.
