Who here listens to these? I like the ones that just pump electronica at me all day. I listen through Shoutcast on Winamp.

I listen to lots of Soma.FM, particularly Groove Salad, Drone Zone, cliqhop.idm, Mission Control.

Digitally Imported are fairly ace as well. Got their app on my Android. Best stations are Space dreams and Minimal.

Then there's this little beauty:

http://bluemars.org/index.php ...which I recommend to all. Seems only to be browser based, though. Boo Hiss.

I don't, but I would if I was working at a PC/laptop all day. Although it would be prog rock for me.

Soma FM is awesome. I actually happened upon a guy wearing one of their shirts in a tiny little pub in Brizzle and ended up talking to him for ages, which was awesome. Groove Salad ftw. Illinois Street Lounge likewise.

I also enjoy:
1Mix Radio for dance choonage.

The 1920s Radio Network for stuff you definitely won't hear anywhere else. Crackly turn of the (20th) century stuff all the way up to the end of the big band era.

92.9 The Bull is a real radio station but it's also a great country station that ISN'T blocked outside the US. (I used to like WIRK 107.9 if for anything their slogan in the iTunes radio section: Where flipflops and cowboy boots mingle in the sand)

181.fm has several stations, I listen to the 80s one mostly.

EvE Radio features some surprisingly talented DJs and some downright hilarious shows to, as per the intermissions, gatecamp, jetcan mine or pod to.

TuneIn Radio on the iThings is great for finding new stuff. It has zillions of channels in a big list and a shake feature to choose one at random.

I listen to WFMU out of Jersey City a lot, it's a bit "PBS" in nature. My favorite bits are phone-ins, 7 second delay on a Wednesday is brilliant for this. Also Professor DumDum's Lab (weird faux-German scientist abuses callers and plays dodgy metal). Laura Cantrell used to do a show on there too. Highly recommend if you like weird stuff.

Otherwise, yeah, there's plenty of automated idm and trance stations.

I don't really listen to music when sitting at the PC any more but, when I did, it was usually Destroyer for all my jungle needs. It used to be WinAmp I used (the file extension for the playlist file is .pls whatever that means?) but they did have a Flash version as well the last time I looked. Hmmm, I wonder if that would work on my phone while I'm out and about...

.pls = playlist - so just an entry in such which points to the url of the stream.

I listen to a lot of Intergalactic FM. They have a few streams but its mainly stream 1 that supplies my need for cold electro, house and techno, (oh and the occasional obscure german synthpop / minimal wave band). The others are mainly devoted to, Disco, film scores and other synthpop weirdness.
