Can anyone recommend any in particular? For a few years I'd been using some no brand cheapo ones (about £30) that I'd picked up on Ebay and they've been great - minimal background hissing and I could walk pretty much all over the house with minimal interference. Unfortunately I managed to break them last week so I picked up some similar ones for a similar price and they're really not much cop - the background noise when there's no audio playing really grates.

Nosing around on the likes of Play, I can see that you can pay silly money for this kind of stuff, but I'm not that much of an audiophile to drop £300 on some headphones - I was thinking more around the £50. Ideally with a charging base station rather than taking batteries.

Also, I've seen some that operate over bluetooth. Having never used a bluetooth device of any kind, I've no experience of them - would the sound quality be any better?

May I ask why you don't get the kind that can plug in?

I like my px3s which are as pc compatible as they are 360. However, still working on the mic positioning... I picked them up for £75 from play which was a steal, plus they are rechargeable.

I like to be able to wander around the house with them on. Even sat at the PC, I tend to fidget about and I think a cable would get in the way. Although if you can suggest any decent cabled ones, I wouldn't rule them out completely.

Hmm.. they do look pretty good. If I can't find anything cheaper, I might go for those. :)

The only ones I can really recommend are the ones I own, which are these (but with a different picture that seems to be sold out now). They're very, very good.

I just bought some new headphones, which are so very nice. Expensive though, and not wireless. (unless you unplug he cable from the headphones. In which case they are. But also quiet)
