So, I've not seen Army of Darkness.
Which version do I watch, the theatrical cut or the directors cut?

Director's cut is better. Plenty of extra scenes plus a cleverer ending. But make sure you watch the theatrical cut's ending too as it's a good larf.

You really need to watch both - Directors cut is the 'true' ending , however there's fun to be had in the theatrical ending (Shop Smart - Shop S-mart !)

I had a pirate of this when it was released which had the directors cut and didnt even know there was an alternative until many years later

They are remaking ED1. It lacks Bruce Campbell and will therefore be shit.

If you are on bloody Twitter and don't follow @GroovyBruce, then for shame people, for shame.

The International version, otherwise known as the Director's Cut inside the US. The theatrical cut in the US was S-Mart ending, so they differentiate it by calling it the director's cut.
