I've said all along, I don't think everyone has got amnesia. I think there's a person/few people who know what's going on.

I am loathed to vote for anyone talking a lot at this early stage...

I am talking, I am giving information, I am getting other people to talk, I have provided everything I know about myself.

If you still want to vote for me after all that, then on your own heads be it.

What can we do, either I have a special property, or one of the people who targeted me have a special property, the only way we can work that out is to see what happens in the morning. To see if I get any more messages, or if anyone else does.

I really don't know what else to suggest...

Malc

I think I agree with those that have said that sitting on our hands is probably a bad idea now that it seems quite likely that two people know they have the ability to kill. The only problem is that it seems almost impossible to take an educated guess at who, because the information we have received is so scant.

A lot at this early point seems to centre on Malc, but only because he is the only one who has received a message (if we are not counting the warning for non-participation). So does that mark him as a baddie, or a neutral character targeted by a goodie or baddie? I'd not think that a baddie would mark himself out as 'special' so early on, but as we have no idea what forces might be controlling people behind the scenes it could be either a double bluff or perhaps a side task that Malc is being forced to carry out alongside his action, be that a good action or a bad one. What we need to find out is what brought the message on: an action BY Malc, or one done to him. Not sure how best to do that though: by asking him to try his night contact/targeting again, or lynching him to see if that turns up any more information.

Why do you think that, though? I agree, it's a possibility, but to think that from the start before any information came out is just a guess, is it, or do you think you have picked up in something more substantial?

Did anyone send a message, though? You don't have to say who to, or what it was, natch.

Unless it was 'mauve'. That'd be pretty important information.

I agree with respect to needing to vote. Since it is highly unlikely that all of any group members have found each other yet, we might still have an advantage. If any group members have found each other they will be unlikely to vote incase they hit an undiscovered group member.

I don't see a good reason for voting for Trooper though.

I didn't send any message. I didn't know that people could.

Actually, that's a point. If nobody knew their roles why would you just assume to send a message? So is it more likely that Boobies sent Malc the message? Or could it be that someone contacted/targeted Malc and was THEN told by Boobies to attach a message, or is it that someone that Malc contacted/targeted returned the message?

I think the first and third possibilities are more likely, just from a point of view of the complexity of Boobies' work, but can't rule out the second possibility.

Have you just admitted to finding a group member, and not wanting to vote because you might hit another?

I can't see a good reason for voting for anyone at this point, though (as you say) I think it's a good idea to vote for somebody. I think it's going to be almost a random vote at this point, though.

I don't have any particular reason to suspect Trooper at this point, and haven't yet voted, but the day is drawing on so we'll have to pick a name in the next 90 minutes.

Really?
a) if the amnesia is being applied fairly, then little chance of bad guys communicating with each other
b) Even if they did, it would be bloody stupid for them all to pile in within a minute.

I tossed a coin between the two highest voted people at that time, but as for the other two, I can only suggest that you stop acting suspiciously...

and that is deemed as suspicious behaviour?

The TV says this.. Do we know if we have to hit a lynch figure, or what happens if time runs out?

 Let me be clear then and jump the 4th wall. Voting out the people who talk has never ended good for the town.

I'll reiterate again, I have said everything I know. I'm one of the only ones who have offered any information at all.

I wasn't sure who to go for, myp, Davpaz or Trooper. I don't have any hunches of my own to go on, and so I'm kind of just having to rely on what other people might have picked up on (though at this point I guess it's just whim or guesswork for most) so though I have no reason to suspect one person over the others, I'm sorry Trooper, it's nothing that anyone has said, but lynching may benefit the group as a whole, and we have to start somewhere otherwise another two may be picked off, and there's only 30 minutes left to decide.

Well I'm glad I started paying attention again, I thought the day ended at 8pm! I see Mimi is similarly confused saying we only have half an hour left.
O suspect the myp trooper argument is just two equally confused people having a go at each other. I'm not comfortable with voting for trooper.

The only thing we know, is the killers now know they are killers...

Unless more than one person targeted the deceased.

or

Did the TV Chap just decide to kill them?

Yes, but with what are probably our only 2 investigators gone, blind luck is about all we have.
We don't even get the benefit of analysing voting patterns, as the bad guys probably don't know the others yet so won't be block voting or rushing...

Of course it is information, maybe not right now, but as the days pass it will be. There may well be other information that comes to light that either proves it to be true or proves it to be a lie, who knows, but at least it is something.

And again, it is more than most people have done.

Of course that is possible, but so could anyone.
I do know that the person I targeted isn't dead, and the person I contacted didn't seem to get any contact.
Which IMO gives me a greater than even chance of being a townie.

I have talked a lot.
I have provided concrete information that can be verified or not at a later date.
I have given theories and acted upon them.
I have asked questions of people.
I have answered questions given to me.

And the reason people are giving for voting for me after all that, is that they have to vote for someone. Can you not see how stupid that is? If you have to vote for someone, vote for someone who isn't participating, or hasn't given anything to the group. Don't just jump onto a bandwagon and vote out the people who are helping as much as they can, just because they are the most visible.

Well, I have to go lie down for an hour or so, so I doubt I will be awake again before the deadline

Do the right thing people.

I was wavering over trooper, but Gillys desperate bloodlust has made me stop to reconsider.

To my mind, there are likely:

2 people who know they have a kill role, but don't know what 'side' they are on.
16 people who know dick all.

So looking for suspiciousness or motivations at this point isn't terribly likely to get us anything. If we think a lynch is the best bet, it's as near as damnit a random lynch.

:this:
It will be random, and for all we know the target is a baddie & they don't even know it.
But - it is the only kill action the town has got.
If we do nothing, 2 of us die every night until a baddie hits another baddie, then it is just 1 kill a night until just the baddie is left.
At least we may get lucky and get the baddies eventually.

These killlers won't kill themselves you know!
