Quick apostrophe quiz: If an office has 2 technicians housed within, what is the correct form for the door sign?

A - Technician's Office
B - Technicians' Office
C - Technicians Office

The correct answer is to have no sign at all. Technicians shouldn't want to be found.

Technicians should't have an office, they should be wandering around, impossible to find in an area with no mobile signal.

Seems I put the dustbin where the "don't park here" woman puts hers. Very amused that all of the bins have been re-arranged.

Why didn't I know about it before! Really quite surreal. The one I just watched centred around muscleman's crap 'my mum' jokes, The martial art 'Death Kwon-Do' and summoning his brother from hell, in a big-rig, by CB radio. So many 80s references too...

Hah! That's an awesome episode! "You know who else needs supervision? My mom!" :D And then when he makes them kiss and eat the picture of his "mum"...Such a bizarre programme. The montage of Rigby playing punchies in that 'Death Punchies' episode is hilarious :D

I'm waiting for Star Trek to come on the TV so I can vacuum the living room. MrsA has her works do this evening (The entertainment is a 'psychic medium', so fuck that) and her friend (fit) is coming over to 'get ready' before they go out, so things have to be shipshape and squared away. I've got to go to the post office and to the chemists later, too (No, not to purchase chloroform, and some mails sacks) before driving them both to the hotel. She's had really positive feedback from her boss, and is being encouraged to get really involved in any project at her work she's interested in, which is awesome.

Star Trek starts at 11, and I don't feel like vacuuming until then. I don't have a proper clock in this room.

I'd get in trouble for that. I'm still in trouble from years back when I went towatch the football at the pub. I'd been asked to bring a pint of milk home, so we could have tea in the morning. So I got pissed and returned with a pineapple. It was only 50p. For a whole pineapple. In October.

Father once came back from food shopping with an entire set of Encyclopaedia Brittanicas. Which I'm still wondering what the thought process there was.

They did prove to be terribly useful, quite often.

He's currently regaling me with tales of the adventures of his "Level 5 Breton thief" in Skyrim. But he still hasn't played "The Car Game" as it looked "too nerdy".

ANTM is awesome. Watching the models trying to interview an actor who is really trying it on in a variety of ways. The first question he said to one lass was "Jesus! You're stacked! Are they real?" She looked shell-shocked. They then get them to interview a real actor (some lass, no idea who, was in 90210) and get them to use the teleprompter, then crash the prompter and see how they do.

ANTM = Awesome.

Basically, get 15 or so aspiring models, stick them in a house and, each day, get them to perform "stuff that you might have to do on a modelling assignment". This generally means making them do really quite insane things (pose with bumblebees, rollerskating bottled water advert). Then boot out the least attractive one. It really helps if you watch it out of sequence and skip between the series as well, because fuck continuity.

America's Next Top Model. As above, but I forgot that the whole thing is presided over by Tyra Banks (who I think is a model, but I've no idea who her friends are that do judging and stuffs). Tyra offers critique to the contestants, and raises their hopes with patronising and condescending comments which they lap up like dogs at a bowl on a hot day. Anyhows, they do stuff and photos get taken, and it's just something awesome that it has any right to be. Curveballs get thrown (such as crashing the Teleprompter, or my personal favorite, having a bunch of other professional models giving the nervous girls about to go out on the catwalk the best smacktalk I've ever heard ("Don't trip" was said to the really quite nervous young lass before she had to walk down a catwalk in front of important people)). Also, most of the judges look like they are from the fifth element, but I assume that this is 'fashion'. Someone called Kim Carishian is on it at the moment, talking about stuff. I assume she's famous, as everybody seemed pleased she was there.

No, she doesn't like watching it with me, as I ask too many questions.

And don't knock it until you've tried it. It's like riding a rollercoaster of screaming women who all secretly hate each other and then tey bitch at each other and once they all got naked in a hot tub for $20. Which was awesomes. And quite cheap. I probably have $30 in change somewhere. And it is all done with honesty and earnesty, too. Which is baffling.

My dad hasn't been allowed to go shopping on his own since the early 1980s, mum was ill and made him a list, he came back with his interpretation of said list including about £40 (£120.80 with inflation worth of squeezy cheese in a tube. Fast forward to this year at the fair and dad comes across a stand selling squeezy cheese, he damn near loses his mind with excitement and says "I haven't seen this in years!!!!" and drops about £100 on the damn stuff. I wasn't there when mum got home but I'm willing to take a punt that she would have been a mixture of pissed off, disappointed and unbearably smug that she had been right all along not to let him go alone over these past 30 years.

We got out annual christmas card of the head of Systems Development today. Nothing says MERRY CHRISTMAS like a machine generated mail merge card. I feel so special.

Also, she's clearly fucked up the mail merge as the other techy's card says "Merry Xmas, <firstname>!"

Idiot.

Bit of a long shot, but does anyone have an old NTSC compatible camcorder they can lend / sell me?
That would either be one foolishly bought while in the US which doesn't work with UK tellies, or possibly a dual-standard one bought here (though I am not sure such a thing exists).

One of the best TV show I ever saw no-one has ever heard of. It was on at around 4am on Channel 4 or 5, and was called "Hot Tub Ranking". It was presented by a Japanese lady, so she could pronounce it "wanking".

Basically, you had five hot female members of the public, and five chaps. The chaps could see the women through a one way mirror. First, the chaps had to rank how pretty they were, from prettiest to ugliest. The women, who couldn't see or hear the men, had to try and rank themselves in the same order as the men.
Then they did best legs, then they would strip to their underwear and do best arse, then best tits. The bitchiness on display was epic.

Over the end credits, they all (men and women) got in a hot tub, which was the only time one featured in the show.

[edit]OMG someone has put it one on YouTube! NSFW: Girls in their underwear: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaE73sF4yao
