I'm not entirely sure what effect changing the local client timezone is expected to have on the server posts… ;)

You've clearly never examined PHPBB's source code.

I don't believe it. The time on the forum is an hour out, not everyone has swapped their timezone to fix it, yet there are no problems.

No, no -- I mean, Trooper is assuming PHPBB does sensible things (e.g. not relying on a user's timezone setting for post ordering). It doesn't, it's a horror show under the bonnet. It wouldn't surprise me if it does use the timezone setting in unexpected ways.

The forum time is now correct.
I moved back to UTC.

So Grim... fixed the time on the forum, which caused it to go back in time an hour, that makes sense then :D

No, time tried to fix itself.
I've set up the new server, but I don't know when I'm going to migrate Beex.

I did once, but it made things worse so I fixed it back.

By the way, I refuse to believe that the settings in your profile have anything to do with what you see on the board. This problem will be occuring for everybody.

Warning! A temporal anomaly is forming in the vicinity of this thread and will be travelling backwards in the time stream for up to -24hrs. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

For those of you travelling on a linear time stream... sucks to be you.
