Be Excellent To Each Other

James Mays Manlab is on tonight and it’s going to be interesting because my friend is going to be on it. He’s in a band that split up 20 years ago and have been brought back together for the show.

We’re all going to be watching it but my friend would like to record it and have it available forever to watch when he wants and to send to his mom and dad who live in Spain.

Is there anyone who could help and maybe do this for me? I haven’t got anything that will be able to record off TV and my friend isn’t exactly a whizz when it comes to technical stuff.

If push comes to shove, is there a way that I can download it off the iPlayer and then keep it rather than have it expire?

Plenty of torrents of last week's show, so I think the easiest way would be to wait for someone to up it.

I did think about a torrent but I haven't had chance to check the torrent sites for last weeks show as I've come straight into work this morning. I didn't think it would be on there to be honest... it's not exactly a massive show?

I watched it, they were really good.

I'll upload a picture of it over the weekend though. I said I'd do some stuff with it for the band anyway so I'll do this while I'm there.

Incidently... their twitter followers went up by about 120 overnight and their Facebook page received 700+ likes (whatever they are). I'm not sure how many singles they sold on iTunes but its looking pretty good for them!

It must have been FUCKING EPIC! Seriously, I was really rooting for them, as they climbed the stairs to the stage.

It was. They were bricking it!

They used a bit of artistic license on the show though. They we're the first band that played on the Sunday afternoon but the crowd they filmed was from the Saturday so it looked bigger than it actually was. Also, they didn't meet Slash but even so... it was awesome for them and I'm dead pleased for them!

That weekend is a highlight of the year for me.
