Thanks chaps, I don't really know much about the more abstract stuff and what makes it any cop.

Went for a walk before the perfect light went and in the space of half an hour found more subject matter than I have done in the past 3 months. :.psyduck:

I'm using my camera a lot less lately, sure I'll get going again. I've been working on getting some digital artwork I'd started a while back finished though, just don't have time for everything.

I just carry my camera wherever I go, more and more I find myself just "this is all shit" formatting everything I took that day. Right now the current obsession is with layers within the composition. The cull has happened and 10 remain, 3 are a lens test but the others are autumn themed, ish, today was strange.

Next to impossible to go further back than that - I was already pressed up against saplings and undergrowth at that distance! It really is in the middle of the forest - a very bizarre thing to find when you're out looking for moose...

Yes, that was what I was getting at. It often gets changed to "I wood", neatly bringing in a euphamism for getting a stiffy.

A couple of weeks ago I went into Fleetwood's last remaining Amusement arcade by the ferry (the Pier burnt down in 2008) and was pleasantly surprised by what was there. I imagined it would be only gamblers but it still had plenty of game cabinets and a large collection of vintage amusements. Walking in and smelling the place and hearing the sounds took me right back. I went back this weekend with my camera.
