Do you chaps take out cover for your phones.


I noticed Orange Care has jumped to £12 a months. I presume there is a better one..

I get it for "free" with my bank account. In that, I pay for a premium account, and that is one of the benefits.

If you don't have it through home insurance or bank or something, getting it from another insurance company will almost certainly be cheaper than through orange.

I have, it is covered, but Barclays do one for £6 a month....

If your mobile phone's covered by your contents, don't bother getting a separate policy.

Just thinking, if I have to claim, won't it wipe out the no claims on the contents policy

I've no idea, but would the loss of no claims be more than the £70 a separate policy costs?

I've always thought of mobile phone insurance to be a bit of a rip off. A friend of mine pays £15 a month for his despite him being covered on his home insurance.

I'm covered on my home insurance so I've never taken any out.
