I nearly went for it but decided against a comedy song again.

Robots are clearly an excellent subject for a song as pretty much all these are good. I went for Kraftwerk (as I am wearing a Kraftwerk T-shirt today from that period!) then the Robocop theme even though the speccy version is my favourite. Then Mr Roboto. I'm kind of thinking that I should have gone for Styx as no.2 now.

'Robot Parade' by TMBG would have been my second choice.

Thing is, would you pick the kids version of Robot Parade or the superior and far scarier adult version?

The two that come to my mind are "All is full of love" by Bjork and "Intergalactic" by the Beastie boys, but I think that's more the videos.

This is the kick-my-shiny-metal-ass adult version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iZNt9K3eaw

Bit surprised there's no Royksopp's The Girl and the Robot here. Or anything by Robots in Disguise. Despite that, a good selection.

I almost went with something by the robocop kraus, but there's only so much german/US indie you can take.
