The epic I wanted to put up was Fading Colours by Mostly Autumn. But didn't.

If I was in this group I would have gone for the Beach Boys cover of the Mamas and Papas "California Dreamin'"

Or possibly "wake me up when september ends" by Green Day

Of course you are right, but, "all the leaves are brown and the sky is gray" makes me think of Autumn, not winter...

On the ground, rotting into mush.

I have the feeling this is going to be quite difficult.

Anita Dobson - It's a soppy lovesong set to the Eastenders theme tune - thanks for reminding me of its existence, Craster. Chris de Burgh should totally do a cover version of it.

Barry Manilow - How did this man ever become famous? He should fire his wardrobe assistant as well. Also, he looks like a Muppet. Like, one of the actual Muppets. Why do they call this shit "Easy Listening"? It's not fucking easy to listen to at all. Music shouldn't hurt. Chris de Burgh should cover this fucker as well.

Base58.com - He sounds a bit like Damon Albarn. It's... rather tuneless, isn't it?

E,W&F - This is a dead-cert for some points, that's for sure.

McAlmont & Butler - Yeah, it's nice enough. There's something missing that stops it from being great, though, like a really catchy bit or something. I don't know.

Noel something-or-other - I know I've heard this before and I'm waiting for the memory to twig, except it's not, which is annoying. I wasn't aware that a song could contain so much imagery without spontaneously combusting.

Okay then... E,W&F gets the 3 points, McA&B get the 2 and I'll give the one point to a random homeless person. (Oh, alright Base58 - just because you asked so nicely...)
