Paint It Black is an excellent song. Not sure what the unusual instrument is though.

Possibly a sitar in there somewhere.

Indeed it was the first uk number 1 to feature a sitar.

Not heard the Jamie xx song before and before listening to any in this group I really hope its as good as I have come to expect from anything made anywhere near a member of xx. I love them.

I liked that and liked hearing the bit at the end as well with the host talking to Jamie. Would go well on a chillout album and makes me want to listen to leftfield and st germaine.

The stones, followed by Jamie xx, followed by the don't sleep without me song, which improved greatly when someone started singing but which didn't grab me enough to score higher.

Good though the Stones song is, I could never give that many points to something so well known. (Unless it's Phil Oakey)

Jamie XX - Not really my kind of thing. Sounds quite old, and wouldn't have been out of place in the late 90s (I have no idea if it is old or not). I can certainly see myself hearing it in my mate's room as he tried to break the world record for most drugs taken in a 24 hour period

Paul Simon - Pleasant enough.

Creatures - Oooh, I really quite like this. Strange and alluring.

Rolling Stones - Well, it's an absolute classic, isn't it? Definitely going to figure in the points.

Jamie XX - Rather odd. Not exactly unpleasant, but not really something that appeals much to me.

Paul Simon - Yeah I like this, but as Gilly has noted, the lyrics are hilarious in places.

Creatures - No, not my type of song at all. In fact it brings back memories of that Circlesquare track.

Rolling Stones - Classic track, although I've never been a huge fan of the Stones.
