Aha - recognition at last. I suggested a naming convention for the new servers. It was going to be whiskys, but nobody could agree which ones. Then it was going to be "whisky" and "tequila". I suggested "whisky" and "tango" - not only drinks but phonetic alphabet letters, for added nerd points. For some reason, this is win!

Although now everyone will have to remember whether to type whisky or whiskey every time

Clearly, your third server should be "foxtrot".

Just spent an hour in the sauna ~80C. It appears that either my head has shrunk, or my glasses are warped. I do have a headace now.

Just instigated and then resolved a major IT catastrophe at work. I was briefly sweating a bit.

Fuck 'em, though. I've asked on more than one occasion to have a test environment, you know, for testing things in.

:( hit shuffle+ play on the auto classified pop folder on media monkey and went downstairs, put my headphones on and got rickrolled by my own pc, couldn't be arsed to go back upstairs and hit forward, next song came on and it's cocking Brian Adam's everything I do. There are 1437 files in this playlist. Those two are now no longer among them.

I always consider summer to be over on the 21st June and then there's 6 months of misery until the 21st December.

Happy birthday Gazchap!

You know what I miss about Yorkshire? The solid brickwork of the old houses. And the old man pubs. And the youth of today still answering their mobiles by going, "Ey up?!"

I miss my Last of the Summer Wine town and the fields and hills therein. And if anybody ever does find themselves in Holmfirth, go to the Nook. Awesome pub.

Closest I've got, although I'm going grey now so it'll only be a matter of years before I can produce a more accurate photograph.
