Got all my stuff packed for Green Man, man - it felt like my arms were coming off walking into work. I am incapable of travelling light. But y'know, I really want to get up early and shoot with my camera tripod one of the mornings. So I packed it, even knowing that in practice I will of course sleep in.

This is the list, how do others pack? Are you able to travel light like Easy Company or do you weigh yourself down of a campain yomping in the Falklands?

Pete's Festival ingredients for a four night camp.

Tent
Sleeping bag
Roll mat
Waterproof inflatable non-parping cushion
One pair of jeans
One pair of shorts
Four shirts
Four pairs of pants
Three pairs of socks
One jumper
Toothbrush & paste
Toilet roll
Waterproof coat
Light awesome olde-American summer jacket
Awesome very light 1930's tortoise-shell-patterned dressing gown
Hat
Torch
DS Lite
Two books
One box of red wine
8 x Tunnocks Bars
2 boxes of Apple Nutrigrain bars
1 bag of mixed fruit
Deceptively heavy camera tripod
Camera and two lenses
Phone and camera charger
Map and compass

And ticket.

Maybe I packed too much. A "+17... You are Over-Encumbered" sign appeared in the air before me, and in walking to work I suddenly slowed down to a literal half a mile per hour shuffle.

We take far too much and our tent is overkill, but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)

I'm off to Beautiful Days after this lay-over in the Monmouthshire hills.

I'm taking the following:

1: Wellington Boots
2: King size Rizla
3: http://www.splatthayes.co.uk/

Enjoy green Man. I only walk the hills of the Glanusk once the proles have gone home again. I shall be there on Tuesday.
