She looks better than she sings. And that's all I have to say about that.

I was genuinely going to use that song in a later round. Bravo to whoever picked it.

:)

TMBG - classic too.

Will listen to the others when I'm at home.

Quite like Ladytron. But TMBG is one of my favourite songs ever.

I like Ladytron too but that particular track isn't one of my faves.

Jedward? :spew:
Ladytron song is good but quite repetitive.
The next track (i think), with the vocal then the drum dance beat kicking in, I like the vocal but that beat is too frantic for me.
Milla Jovovich is Cerys Matthews in that video! 8) Rrroad rrrrrage! Weird song, I didn't know she sang.
Ah now, this song here. Portugal whatever, with the wolves? This I like.
Finally, this is the giant people I have heard chatter about amongst you before. Meh.

I didn't realise that was Milla Jovovich (as I didn't watch the video). I found I rather liked that. Portugal I listened to more than I expected. TMBG are too obvious. Hated vocals on the other track. Oh and I know Playgirl too well and yet is it a bit repetetive really but that's what ladytron do. Milla it is.

Bad Behaviour - Jesus Fucking H Christ. NOT EVEN FUNNY. My ears. My poor ears.

PlayGirl - This is the best track in the history of the world ever. Vote for it. Vote for it. You must vote for it.

Sweet Love - I never liked this at the time, and I still don't. Horrible crappy drum mix too, WTF is going on? Brrrr.

Gentleman Who Fell - Hmmm, not horrible, and y'know, Milla Jovovich. On balance though, I don't think so. She's nowhere near as good at looking a bit crazy and whimsical as Kate Bush either.

Got It All - Ahhh yes, this works for me up to now. But then.... It gets a bit boring. Not convinced.

Birdhouse In Your Soul - I've never understood what the big deal is with this song. It's OK, at best.

The vote goes to.... I'm being overruled by Mrs AE, she likes Birdhouse In Your Soul and wants me to vote for it.

I'm a simple man and I'd quite like sex later on, so Birdhouse In Your Soul gets my vote.

Lots of great stuff here, toughest choice yet.

Jedward it is.

Though in seriousness, that's the first video I've watched right to the very end. I couldn't move my eyes from it. Like a carcrash of the most visceral kind. Also, is David Cameron their dad?

Milla is surprisingly good. And the only time we'll see her Bush?

Lovely stuff from Ladytron and the singer looks pleasingly like Louise Wener, which I hadn't realised before. In the bank.

Portugal - sound a lot like the Guillemots when the Guillemots are good. Which is a good thing.

They Might Be Giants - sheer joy.

M-Beat - sounds like the Pyramid Song before Heather Small comes in and starts bellowing all over the place. I missed jungle in my early teens, only getting into D&B later on, so doesn't quite have the nostalgia kick to it for me.

GAH! Craster, you bastard...

Ladytron
Kinda funky and kinda catchy. Definitely a grower, but I think that given the minimal variation at time it could perhaps be a better song at 3 minutes rather than 4. Still a good song though, and I likes it. And she's kinda pretty too, so bonus points.

M-Beat
I'd rather have had 'Incredible' tbh. Not really a big fan of it, though I did make me remember a few night spannered up in my old house dancing like a fool.

Milla
I love Milla. My brother bought this as a single when it first came out, and I totally fell in love with her. Still am, to this day. She's awesome, and I love this song to bits.

Portugal
Huzzah! I always like hearing new bands that I am unaware of, especially if it's my kind of thing. I like the T-Rex throwback feel to a good portion of it. Definitely my favourite of the songs I haven't heard before, and I will listen to this a few times I reckon. Cheers.

TMBG
I adore this song, but it's a little bit obvious for a board full of geeks, n'est pas?

Vote - Milla, just ahead of Portugal. Had I Eurovision voting it'd be Milla - Portugal - TMBG.

Okay then...
Jedward - "The uploader has not made this video available in your country." Oh. Shame.
Ladytron - Oh, I like this a lot. I blame the store I work in, which plays a lot of electronic music, but I've really been turned on to this sort of stuff recently. I used to be such an indie kid, too.
M-Beat - Nah.
Milla Jovovich - I remember this one from when it was released. I kind of had a sneaking like for it back then and I still like it now - the main problem is that I feel it needs to step up a notch, but it never really does.
Portugal - Nice start, bit of a whiny singer. Alright, I suppose.
TMBG - Nah. It's okay, but quite frankly I prefer the Hot Dog song from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

So... Ladytron it is, then.

You can see her tits in this version, which on reflection is the one I ought to have posted

So that's Milla then - singer/songwriter, Eastern European swoon magnet, Wearer of lovely long skirts (when she's not naked), genetically enhanced extensively cloned zombie killer. If you can do better, you're a lying cunt.

Jedward - Sod off.

Ladytron - Not bad, but not great either.

Milla - Sadly the strings remind me of Enya, and the song doesn't recover from this.

Portugal the Man - Ooh, I like this! I think I've heard it before.

M-Beat - I was into jungle and d'n'b as a lad, and really like this song.

TMBG - A good song, but too predictable for this, I fear.

I won't vote for my own song, so I voted for Portugal.

Now that the results are out, TMBG was my choice. I am disheartened by people saying it's an 'obvious' choice, or for the geek crowd here. I picked it simply because it is my absolute favourite song.
