Is that the one where you're an old man driving a Porsche into picket lines?

Going to pick up my car tonight! I R EXCITED! :DD

I'll stop going on about it soon, once the novelty wears off n that.

In other news, Ramsea dropped his bike today :sigh: Well, it toppled over when he went to tell someone the road ahead has closed....He got half way to work and had to turn back. So now he has to work late tonight to make up the time he lost by having to turn back after getting half way to work and his bike is a bit scuffed. Great Monday morning!

Sigh. This is why I never tell my family anything. I can't get an appointment for two weeks, because I decided not to lie and say that it was an emergency. Now they won't shut the fuck up about it, as though they have any right to be annoyed by my decisions about my health, or act annoyed on my behalf.

Yes, I want to get treatment, of course I fucking do, it will likely un-ruin my life. But I'm not going to die in the next two weeks, I'm not contagious, and it's not going to affect my work or anything. Other people who actually need an emergency appointment have more right to it than I do at the moment. Shut the fuck up, family! Gah.

I can't stand it when people interfere and make a massive fuss over things that are none of their bloody business.

Urgh! That always happens to me as well. I think it's genuinely "okay" to just say it's an emergency any way. Every fucker else does it! Also, I don't like how receptionists ask you what the problem is now. "Er, well, I, er, fuck you! It's none of your fucking business!"

Talk of PS3 reminds me that Resistence 3 is coming on 9 Sept. It'll be interesting to see how far its come. R2 was rough as a badgers arsehole but brilliant fun. The lack of much fanfare doesn't look good though.

And have you trialed Soul yet Zardoz? I bet you an evenings worth of fun out of it from start to finish.

Tried downloading it last night but it got stuck at 85% (my laptop connection was slow too, probably TalkTalk staff joining in with the rioting). Hopefully it'll be ok tonight.

Why send me details of a position that I've previously applied for but didn't get an interview for a second time?

They really really don't, but certainly some do*. And every single one of them may be a decent person in most of their lives, but at the point where they're taking an emergency appointment they're an absolute arse. It's a bit like taking a disabled parking spot, only not because it might mean somebody dies. And it massively pisses off the doctors who then find that while they were stuck with routine shit from some selfish arsehole who doesn't understand that they are only one person chasing a scarce resource, someone else came in with a heart attack and had to wait. Emergency=emergency.

* Edit, should have said - it seemed to be rare enough that it would put GP ex-girlf in a foul mood every time it happened, such that I'd hear about it each time

One of the designs I'm most happy with has been given to someone else to build while I'm stupidly busy with other work. I can see them across the room, butchering it with all sorts of background images :(

They always use their signup date as their birthday, weirdos.

What amazes me is the number of blatant spam accounts that sign up but never actually post anything.

Fucking knobbers.

Sent eldest boy off an activity week on Monday, Ramsea paid on Friday, or tried to pay as they said the transaction failed. However, the money was deducted from our account the same night. Since then, they've been chasing daily....."We need the money or your son can't continue on this week" despite us saying the money has left the account, calling the bank, giving this company the authorisation code from the bank...They rang Ramsea again this afternoon, he spoke to the bank again to find out what else could be done, then they rang me to see if I could chase the bank! Cheeky fuckers....They also want a bank statement so we can prove to them the money has left our account.

They're a right bunch of dickheads. On Friday they told Ramsea they knew nothing of the booking and didn't have the boys name down or anything, despite me emailing 2 different people up there on the same email address and having the booking confirmed back to me!

It's only been 2 working day since we paid them. Grrr!! The bank aren't much better either (we use the same bank as the dickheads) they're going to investigate it, which could take 48hrs and if we have to pay twice, it'll take 4 to 6weeks for the money to be refunded to our account. It's so fucking annoying how this is being made our problem. They're all bastards. >:( >:(

Are you sure the money has come out and has not just been 'ringfenced'?

We have sites where customers complain of this, and when we look into it 99.9% of them have only been changed once, but the 'ringfence' is still around the money, this times out after a day or so.

Ready for the new bed, I've removed everything from the bedroom, vacuumed it all and run the carpet cleaner over the carpet. Now I can't see for sneezing. Also, it is due to arrive sometime between noon and six PM, and I've to pick a sofa up as well today, so can't leave the house. Boo!

I hate games where you have to 'be' someone. Like on Pure. I don't want to be Tabitha Shishkebab, daughter of a princess who has rebelled and join the circus, I want to be MaliA, the early thirties retired pirate with a slight paunch. Thanks, Pure.
